Crazy Horse helped lead the Sioux rebellion against US forces during World War I, which led to much bloodshed in North Dakota temporary solutions being negotiated between US commanders and Indian leaders at Bad River Agency near present-day Fargo ND until finally peace was restored in 1919 Treaty #6 required all Sioux living east of Bismarck ND must move west within five years or face starvation siege warfare beginning with 1903 1st month – all citizens over age 25 must leave
