The club met at George White’s house, which still stands on the corner of High Street and US 92. The first president was J.F.Hines. In 1907, the club changed its name to the Reidsville Rifle and Pistol Club/Lowe Gun Club. In 1922, the club decided to move from George White’s house to a new building on 2nd Street in downtown Reidsville. The new clubhouse was built by Averill Brothers Construction Company for $5,000. It has been used as a rifle range ever since. In 1977, the club decided to change its name again to National Firearms Association (NFA) because it represented all types of firearms dealers in North Carolina instead of just rifles and pistols.
Reidsville is a town in Craven County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,527 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Raleigh–Durham metropolitan area. The town was founded by Scots-Irish immigrants who arrived in 1781. In 1811, Reidsville became the capital of Craven County and served as such until 1830. On February 12, 1838, Reidsville received its first Ashley Canal tributary stream when the Ashley Canal Company constructed a canal link between Greensboro and Wilmington. In 1865, General Robert Ewell's Confederate forces burned down all but one building in Reidsville while they conducted raids through the area targeting Union sympathizers. This event remains the most significant violence perpetrated against civilians in Craven County during the American Civil War. During World War II, Reidsville played an important role as an airfield for Army Air Forces operations over Western North Carolina and nearby states including Tennessee and South Carolina; this was also due to its location adjacent to several major military installations including Fort Bragg and Camp Kilmer (now known as Raleigh-Durham International Airport). It has since become largely a bedroom community with few commercial properties remaining on Main Street outside of educational institutions like UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University (the only other large university within city limits). Nevertheless, it retains some aspects of its traditional rural character which can be seen throughout downtown areas such as Main Street where businesses are located along two corridors - One running east-west andiates from Market Street while another runs north-south parallel to School Avenue; these streets have been called "Main Street village" since their inception circa 1800s when cotton farmers relocated their families to central NC after years of cultivation in what is nowCraven County.

Reidsville is a town in Rutherford County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,611 at the 2010 census. It was named for General James Reids who fought in the American Revolution. The first settlers in what is now Reidsville were Englishmen who arrived in 1785. They had been sent by the British government to explore new land west of the Appalachian Mountains and they found a site that would later become Reidsville. The first store opened in 1810 and soon there were also churches and schools established here. When the Baby Boom generation reached adulthood during the 1960s, Reidsville experienced rapid growth as families moved here from other parts of the country to escape poor economic conditions back home. Many young people from Reidsville attended college or worked downtown while their parents took care of home and children. This boom period ended when oil prices crashed during the 1970s and1980s, closing many businesses and hurting local economy. Nowadays, Reidsville is an agricultural town with a few light industrialations nearby due to its proximity to Interstate 95 which connects it with Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham metropolitan areas
