Despite its limited popularity among civilians, handguns continued to bedeveloped in North Carolina until around 1900. During this time period, handguns began becoming more popular as they became easier and less expensive to purchase than rifles or cannons. This change came about due to improvements in technology that made firearms more wieldable and efficient than ever before

One such company was Custer Clothing Company which produced clothing specifically geared towards shooting enthusiasts. The company manufactured its products at an armory on Long Island where customers could purchase pistols and rifles from knowledgeable staff members. With FAL ownership becoming more prevalent in society, Custer decided that sales of their apparel would be higher if they started selling ammunition too. So instead of just pistols and rifles, the company began manufacturing ammunition as well - starting with .22 LR rounds in 1875! Today, Custer Ammunition is still one of the most successful manufacturers of firearm related clothing available today!

Mint Hill is a small town located in the eastern half of North Carolina. It was settled by Scots-Irish farmers in the early 1800s and became known for its mint, which is also the name of one of its streets. The minting process used to produce coins and medals from silver and gold. In 1868, Mint Hill was hit hard by a severe drought that caused crop failures, creating an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to start businesses in the town. Some of these businesses were successful enough to keep the town going until after World War II when it declined again due to economic recession. However, since then, Mint Hill has seen some significant redevelopment including being made into a bedroom community for Charlotte. In recent years, it has become known for its annual summer festival which features concerts, art exhibits and more than 100% organic food production.
Mint Hill was a plantation in North Carolina, and is now a part of the town of Mint Hill. The name probably derives from the mint that grew on the property. The first settlers on this tract were Andrew Hammond and his wife Elizabeth who arrived in 1768. They founded the town of Hammond on what is now East Mint Hill Road. In 1813, John Fenton bought the tract from Andrew Hammond and made it into a township called Fenton Township. In 1873, Mint Hill was renamed to Mint Hill Township after being added to Johnston County.
