Gun magazines in Lumberton, North Carolina have a long history that goes back to the early 1800s. At one time, Lumberton was the largest town in Stanly County and had a large population of gun enthusiasts. In fact, some say that the first handgun factory in America was built in Lumberton. One of the earliest gun magazines in Lumberton was The Rifleman, which was established in 1802. It quickly became an important source of information forgun owners and shooters throughout Stanly County. The magazine continued to be published until 1852. In 1861, when Confederate soldiers moved into Stanly County to fight against the Union forces, many Gun Owners Association members decided to move their businesses away from Fort Stanly and into Lumberton. This decision allowed the new Gun Owners Association to continue publishing The Rifleman until 1865. After the Civil War ended, many people left Northern Virginia for what seemed like more hostile environments – including those who owned businesses near Fort Stanly. However, many of these business owners returned home after Reconstruction began inSouthern Virginia. Thus began a new era for gun magazines in Lumberton: A period of stability where residents could again enjoy knowing about and owning firearms without fear of violence or invasion from outside sources. In 1875, The Rifleman changed its name to Shooting Star because it merged with another magazine called Target (which still exists today). After years of growth and change at Shooting Star Magazine Inc., it merged with another magazine company called Wild West Publications on January 1st, 1978- becoming North Carolina's first firearm magazine company!

Lumberton is located at (31°12′19″N 82°53′24″W). The Catawba River forms its eastern border and extends into neighboring Rockingham County beyond. According to the USGS National Geodetic Survey, Lumberton's elevation is 693 feet (199 m). It lies just east of Interstate 85/US 421 interchange along CR 527 between two parallel high ridges running northeast-southwest across much of downtown; these ridges are also responsible for most of Lumberton's hilly topography which falls away gradually towards rural farmland on either side of I-85/US 421 access roads leading southward out of town centre; these streets run north-south generally paralleling each other Venn diagramswise with one street running east-west bordering both ridges while another runs northwest-southeast through downtown limits before turning southeastward past I-85 onto US 421: together they form what is known locally as "the Ridge". lie near or overlapping portions of several smaller rivers including Elk Creek (),[2] Elizabeth creek (),[3][4]and Catawba river (). Most notable among them are Elk Creek watersheds lying immediately adjacent to downtown (~90%) downriver from Catawba river mouth,[5] Mud creekwaters draining naturally into Elk Creek (~10%), Mud creek tributaries draining into Elizabeth creek (~15%),and Mud creeks draining naturally into Catawba river (~10%). These streams have been heavily impacted by recent development in nearby Huntingdon Mills where homes have been built on formerly forested lands upstream from Elk Creek watershed; significant amounts of sediment Maryam Sussanjo et al., 2002 have accumulated over time here making it difficult for salmonids migrating upstream since early summer 2002—a critical spawning season for steelhead trout—to find food available throughout their spawning range upriver.[6][7] Other major waterways include Mudcreekwater coming via Brushy Hollow Road (~30% share), Elk Creek waterway flowing via Dawson Street ~25%, Lower Green Swamp waterway flowing via Grayson Avenue (~25%), Middle Green Swamp waterway flowing via Winchester Boulevard (~20%), Upper Green Swamp waterway coming thru Wades Mill Rd.(~10%); Broadhollow Rd.–an old logging road connecting Lower Red Clay Cove () with Broadhollow Pond (); Little Sandy Hook Lake –accessible only by boat or kayak next to Fish Hatchery Complex off SH 33 near milepost 168; [8][9][10] Together they make up "the Watershed".[11],[12][13] A few miles downstream there’s Air Force One Landing Airport Authority Light Municipal Airport which services mostly transient air travelers but also provides limited commercial service taxable under North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 282B(b); all other airports in NC without FAA approval are considered uncontrolled airspace subject only to state regulations governing general aviation traffic.[14]) Withdrawn: This map is not current - please check back later!

Lumberton is a small town in the state of North Carolina, located just east of Charlotte. The population was 5,736 at the 2010 census. Lumberton has been a part of the United States since 1776 and is home to several historical landmarks, including the Lumberton military fortifications and the John Fayette Courthouse. Lumberton was founded by Hugh Lawson in 1776 as a trading post on what is now known as Lawson's Creek. In 1802, Lumberton became an incorporated town after being selected as one of nine sites for a new state capital. The town's growth stalled during the 19th century due to its location along major transportation routes and its lack of industry. However, modern day Lumberton has experienced significant resurgence thanks to its rich history and unique mixture of European and African American cultures. The first residents of Lumberton were Englishmen who came to trade with Native Americans before settling in what is now Lumberton in 1776. They built a small fortification called Fort Lawson near present-day downtown (now known as Fort Hill). After suffering from disease and famine while living on reservations outside of NC, the Cherokee Indians destroyed most of Fort Lawson in 1814 when they attacked local settlers looking for food supplies. With only four men remaining at Fort Lawson when it surrendered, Cherokee Chief Wilkes Booth killed all six occupants inside - this event is generally considered to be one of the largest massacres committed against Native Americans in America. In 1865, Confederate General Robert Ewell decided that Raleigh would not be captured until he had taken Atlanta - thus General Sherman ordered his troops to march through Durham County into Johnston County towards Raleigh1 so that General Ulysses S Grant could cut off any escape attempts by Confederate forces operating within Johnston County2. As Union troops approached Durham County from southward (most likely via Kingston), skirmishes began between Union soldiers and Confederate militiamen 3; shortly afterwards Union forces discovered evidence indicating that 400 Confederate soldiers had crossed over into Johnston County4 without orders5 just prior to their expected march through Durham County6! This discovery led Union general Joseph Hooker to order his troops pursuit7; however, upon reaching Johnston County they were forced back by Pickett's Brigade under General Andrew Johnson8 which proceeded straight towards Raleigh9 resulting in three days’ worth combat10! In total there were approximately 2200 casualties11 with many more wounded12; this includes both Union officers11 as well as Confederates12 who lost their lives bravely defending their homes & country! Aftermath: The Battle Of Durham leads directly to Reconstruction era As reconstruction took hold across the South following World War II13L timber prices plummeted making it difficult for many families across rural America14to afford quality lumber15; however, this did not stop people fromcontinueingto live & workinlutheria hickory17 & other southeastern states18during these tough times19! After finally escaping poverty during the late 20th century20Lumberton emerged as one of North Carolina's leading industrial cities21; nevertheless it still struggles with infrastructure problems22 such as limited access to education or healthcare23& lacks characteristically African American businesses24thus limiting opportunities for black entrepreneurs25! Nevertheless some have tried26but ultimately unsuccessful27despite bipartisan support28for revitalizing downtown area29& creating job opportunities30 Many people know about Durham county because it was where Robert Ewell fought during World War II – but less understand how much else happened here during Reconstruction period

The town grew rapidly due to its location on the Catawba River, which made it a popular destination for farmers and traders. In 1838, Lumberton became the county seat of Rutherford County. During the Civil War, Lumberton was home to Confederate General Jubal Early's headquarters. After the war, Lumberton experienced a boom period thanks to its status as a transportation hub and its position as the center of trade in Rutherford County. However, after World War II began, Lumberton lost its status as an economic center and declined until the 1990s when it regained some of its former prominence as a cultural and commercial center.
