Knightdale, North Carolina is a small town located in Henderson County. It was founded in 1851 and became part of the Charlotte metropolitan area in 1959. The population was 24,626 as of 2010. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) is located in the town. The first rifles were made here by local blacksmiths and farmers who used hand-forged guns and shotguns from old cannons found around the area. In 1857, George Washington Carver organized a rifle club to improve gunnery skills among black men working on farms near Knightdale. This club sponsored shooting matches, exhibition games, and other activities that helped build community spirit and confidence among blacks in an era when many people viewed them as second-class citizens. In 1865, General John Custer's army passed through Henderson County on their way to fight against Native Americans near Fort Donelson. Black soldiers following Custer were encountered by white settlers and animals roaming free within the newly acquired land north of Hendersonville. Some black soldiers managed to capture or purchase firearms before they were ferociously pursued by their pursuers into Indian Territory where they likely died or were captured alive. This event led to significant changes for the African American community living north of Hendersonville during this time period: For the first time ever, they began acquiring firearms outside of rural areas where access was limited or difficultto obtain altogether; however, these arms still remained largely unusable due to lack of experience with handling them safely; furthermore, it placed severe restrictions on their civil rights during this period because owning firearmsrestricted them from engaging in political activism or participating in peaceful protests against white supremacy

Knightdale is a town in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 2,411 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Charlotte–Mecklenburg–Stokesboro, NC Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settler in Knightdale was John Knight who arrived in 1787. The town was named after General George Washington and it was laid out as a township on May 10, 1824 by Governor Tryon. On July 1, 1829, the Township became a Rural District when it was combined with other rural districts within Forsyth County. In 1907, the Rural District was abolished and its assets were placed into the new Knightdale School District which continues to exist today. In 1954-1955 an experimental school for black students called "Fruitland" opened in Knightdale to serve white students from nearby towns such as Cornelius and Rocky Mount which were all desegregated through legislation passed by then Governor Ziegler that year. Fruitland closed after only one year due to low enrollment rates among black students compared to white students and concerns about racial integration in a community that had experienced segregation since before Reconstruction occurred following America's Civil War On November 5th of that same year local resident James Meredith became thefirst African American student at UNC Chapel Hill when he came to class wearing his own clothes rather than having them delivered to him each day like many other white classmates On September 14th of 1957 riots took place throughout Durham after four black teenagers were arrested for playing truant from their high school near downtown Durham
Ar15 upper receivers, or “Ammo” as they are commonly referred to, have a long and colorful history. They were designed in the early 1990s as an update to the AR-15 Rifle, which was first fielded in 1963. The original AR-15 Rifle was designed by Colt Defense Inc., and it used a M16 style barrel with a 16 inch overall length. It had a 3.5 inch chamber that could hold either .223 or 5.56 rounds. In 1995, Colt redesigned the AR-15 Rifle for use with ammunition made by Winchester Ammunition Company. This new design featured a longer barrel with an 8 inch overall length, and it also had a 6 round magazine capacity instead of the 3 round capacity of the original rifle. This change allowed the AR-15 Rifle to be more effectively used in both hunting and war scenarios, as it now had greater range compared to its predecessors. The initial production run of these new rifles ran out quickly, so Colt began manufacturing more of them at their plant in Fort Worth, Texas. The popularity of these rifles soon led to calls for further updates and revisions to them, which eventually led to the development of the current Ar 15 Upper Receiver series (A1r).
