Indians Trail, North Carolina was founded in 1885 by the Cherokee people. The town grew rapidly due to its location at the crossroads of several trails that connected Cherokee and white settlements in the region. In 1915, Indian Trail was renamed for General George Custer, who had been martyred during World War 1. Over time, optical accessories have become an important part of Indian Trail's economy. This led to increased demand for silver frames among Cherokees who were using their new technology to view pictures taken outdoors or when traveling through bright sunlight . After World War I ended in 1918 America experienced an economic depression which caused many businessowners to close their doors . However ,Mr Morrison continued operating his business until 1951 when it became known as Goudreau's Glasses & Optics Incorporated The first glasses shop opened up within Indian Trail specifically for opticians located on Elmwood Avenue just outside of Town Hall It wasn't until 1929 that glassblowers started working at Goudreau's shop making lenses from two types of glass: porcelain (clear) and clear enamels (dark). With this advance in technology came increased profits for Goudreau's optic shops throughout North Carolina After World War II ,glass production shifted towards plastic materials due to increasing innovation by companies like RCA Victor which led to advancements in quality control techniques during manufacturing process thereby resulting in lower costs associated with traditional glassmaking processes

In 1839, a wagon train of Americans and British trekked across the Rocky Mountains from Missouri to California. The journey was long and arduous; many died along the way. By the time they reached North Carolina, many had lost all hope of completing the trip. But on July 6, 1839, a small team of pioneers pushed through difficult terrain northwest of Raleigh to find what would become Indian Trail. This route crossed the state line between North Carolina and Virginia and connected withthe main road that ran through Kentucky to Louisville. For more than two centuries, this trail has been one of America's most important trade routes. It served as an important conduit for goods and people from east to west, helping fuel Bacon's Rebellion in 1775 and support independence efforts in both states during the American Revolution. As a result, Indian Trail has left an lasting impression on both North Carolina residents and visitors alike. The first Europeans to enter what is now eastern North Carolina were Native Americans who hunted game animals along what is now known as Indian Trail. Captain John Smith encountered these Indians while exploringountains near present-day Raleigh in 1607. From here he may have thoughtlessly named his discovery "Mount Loony" after a local mountain peak because he could not see it from where he was standing (Loon Peak is located about 8 miles north of today's downtown Raleigh). In 1624Sir Walter Raleigh traveled down Indian trails into central South Carolina looking for new sources of food supplies for his navy before setting out on his circumnavigation of Earth in 1596A group led by Captains John Smith (1578-1645)and James Cook (1728-1779) explored northwestern partsof North Carolina in 1611-12 when they discovered Watauga Lake which later became known as Appalachian Mountain . Afterwandering around these newly discovered areas for weeks they entered Transylvania County wherethey built Fort McClary on October 26th , 1611 A few days later they returned homebrought back deer skins, gunspowder, clothsand other items that were traded with nearby European settlements
