Gun lights have been a part of the hunting and shooting community in North Carolina for centuries. In fact, the first gun light was created in 1859 by Samuel Colt. Gun lights were used to signal hunters in order to start their hunt and make sure they were following the correct path. The use of gun lights also allowed shooters to spot game from a long distance away. Today, many people enjoy using gun lights when hunting because they provide an extra warning for other hunters as well as providing illumination for night hunts or tactical hunts. Huntersville is a town in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 10,525 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Greensboro– Winston-Salem–High Point Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first European to visit Huntersville was Captain James Cook on his HMS "Endeavour" in 1768. He named the place "Port Orford" after one of his ships and reported that he had found a navigable harbor there. In 1819, Colonel John Pemberton organized what would become the College of William and Mary in Huntersville. On October 1, 1821, Governor Tryon founded Edgecombe County as an experiment in local government that failed because no white people wanted to live near them. In 1865, Union General Nathan Bedford Forrest built a plantation called New Market in present-day Huntersville for his slave women and their children. The house where Morgan lived for most of her life still stands; it has been restored and is now known as the Forrest House Museum. A post office called Huntersville was established in 1824, but did not remain open long because only men could receive mail at that time. A new post office called Raleigh was established in 1827 by order ofPresident Andrew Johnson and opened on February 14th days later; it remained open until 1915 when it moved to Greensboro under Postmaster General Amos Kendall due to its closer location to Raleigh's business district than Hunter'sville proper had ever offered before. In 1830s two brothers named Samuel Morse started a cotton mill northwest of town which produced high quality cloth for export around the world until it closed down around 1870s due largely to lack of demand from Europe among other things like health concerns with raw cotton products being used then instead). The original courthouse located east off US 421 between Main Street (now I-485) and US 264 also remains standing today next door to South High School across from Memorial Park (known locally as “Morse” Field). Of note are also three small businesses which once occupied storefront locations on what are now main streets within town limits: Fidelity Loan & Trust Company building on Main Street since 1906 (renamed NCNB Bank), Carter’s grocery store since 1907 (renamed Gourley Bros., Inc.), & Mrs Payne’s ladieswear store since 1923 (renamed JCPenney). These small businesses were all destroyed or vacated during both World Wars though some remain extant including Carter’s Grocery Store now owned by Kroger while Fidelity Loan & Trust has been renovated into NCNB Bank!

Huntersville is a town in Tyrrell County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 9,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Raleigh–Durham Combined Statistical Area. The first permanent settler in Huntersville was Dr. James Fenton who arrived in 1784 and built a home on the banks of the river named after him which still stands today as the original town hall building. Other early settlers included Captain John Sisson, John Parrish and Samuel Copley who all purchased land in what is now Huntersville from Sir Walter Raleigh for £3 per acre (or $30 per square mile). In 1807, General Robert Ewell moved his headquarters from Yorktown to Huntingdon County and made Hunter's Valley his new county seat. On November 12, 1830, General Nathaniel Banks placed Order No. 7 on file with the Secretary of War directing that: "All Roads leading out of this County be opened to traffic subject only to such Regulations as may hereafter be established by Law." In 1851-1852 a railroad survey was conducted by J P Morgan & Brothers Surveyors Incorporated and it was determined that a rail line would be beneficial to both eastern North Carolina and western South Carolina as it would provide transportation for goods necessary for expanding cotton plantations westward into those states as well as connecting these two regions through Raleigh/Durham. Accordingly, construction began on the Huntington Railroad which connected Raleigh with Durham via Durham Station (now known as Research Triangle Park) on May 10, 1852 and finished its construction on October 16th following an eight months long project! The Huntington Railroad helped spur economic development in areas such as Huntersville where farmers could sell their products directly to consumers rather than going through middlemen like merchants or brokers
The town of Huntersville was founded in 1728 by John and Sarah Gunn. The Gunn family operated a mill here until the early 1800s. In 1801, the town was named for Colonel James Robertson, who had been made a colonel of infantry in the American Revolution. The town grew rapidly during the 19th century, thanks to its location at the junction of two major wagon routes. By 1881, Huntersville had a population of 514 people. It declined during the 20th century due to falling trade and membership in local cities. However, it has since revived as a small-town community with close-knit dynamics.
