Huntersville is a small town located in the eastern portion of North Carolina. The population was 7,521 as of the 2010 census. It is one of the most densely populated communities in Eastern North Carolina and has been since its incorporation as a town in 1892. The area that now makes up Huntersville was first settled by Cherokee and British settlers during the early 1800s. At that time, it was part of what is now Todd County. In 1892, Hunter's Falls named after Colonel John C Davidson were built in what is now downtown Huntersville. This waterfall cascades down from a height of over 100 feet into a small creek below which lies Huntingdon Creek. After being renamed Hunter's Falls, it became one of the most popular tourist destinations in the community. The Citizens National Rifle Association (CNA) was founded in 1795 by Deacon George Washington Smith and Drumbaugh Lewis who were two of the earliest organizers of American rifle clubs outside London, England. By 1822, all but six towns within Robeson County had NRA memberships including Huntersville where membership grew to 1,500 by 1830 from just 20-30 individuals! In 1861, John C Davidson purchased land east of present day downtown Huntsville for use as an agricultural reserve known as Huntingdon Park which he used for hunting deer and other game animals until his death in 1865 when it passed to his son Charles Davidson Jr., who later sold it to local entrepreneur Wm Hargrave who developed it into what we know today with much commercial development taking place beginning around 1915 when Hargrave donated land adjacent to present day Interstate Commerce Commission property on whichrolltheHuntersville Municipal Airport stands today! With increased gun ownership throughout America during World War II due to both military necessity and fear for potential new enemies such as Japan or Germany following their victory over Europe at World War I; Gun control legislation appeared on Capitol Hill starting with New Deal legislation introduced in 1933 known as the National Firearms Act (NRA). This act banned all handguns manufactured before 1934 without a license from anyone except law enforcement agencies while also providing tax breaks for those owning firearms For many years this legislation remained unsigned with no attempt made to enforce it; however increasing numbers of criminals began circumventing these bans through straw purchasing techniques whereby someone appears trustworthy enough online or even offline upon purchase/sale through false identification such as being unemployed or having no legal firearms possession! Eventually investigations revealed that large portions of this crime came from out-of-state dealers who were not subject to federal regulation! As a result Congress earmarked $380 million dollars specifically for gun control initiatives pursuant to Title III (now referred to as Violence Against Women Act)ofthe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1994! In 2001, President George W Bush signed Executive Order 12966 creating The Department Of Justice’s Office Of Compliance Programs which annulled every federal registration certificate issued under Executive Order 9999 prohibiting any person “from engaging in any activity that would contribute particularly To An VAWA Violation”!!! This order represented an important reversalof precedent set prior thereto by Presidents Franklin D Roosevelt & Harry S Truman!! With passage of PubL L 104-208 effective July 8th 1996 making public records requests nearly impossible&effectively shutting down many investigative journalism operations across America despite various court orders; numerous whistle blowers emerged namely former ATF agent Edwin Meese III&FBI special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs whose testimony helped bringdown then Attorney General Janet Reno!!! Ever since then numerous efforts have been made by various congressional committees chaired by different Senators & Representativesseekingtorevisit executive order 12966!!!! However much like Prohibition days ago efforts appearTo FAIL once again because executive order 12372 exists!!!!!!!!

Today Huntingdon offers more than 120 undergraduate programs and 50 graduate degrees . Incorporated into Huntingdon since 1896 are three professional sports franchises: men’s basketball (Huntington State), women’s lacrosse (Duke) and men’s golf (NC State).
