In 1952, Rayon Corporation entered into an agreement with Zenith Radio Corporation to produce television sets using high quality electro-optical components made from silver glass that were developed by Zenith Radio Corp.. This led to the production of the first electronic televisions in 1953. The products produced at this time featured vacuum tubes rather than transistors as are found now on most televisions and radios! In 1957, Zenith Radio Corp decided that they did not need any more silver glass for their television sets so they discontinued production of them altogether and began marketing some new product lines including radio receivers which used vacuum tube electronics instead of transistor ones In 1959 RCA Victor introduced the first stereo sound experience on a television set when they produced a color TV set based on rayon materials! This innovative product line quickly became popular as consumers demanding better audio quality discovered that these TVs could offer true stereo sound while still being affordable! Under license from Sony Pictures Television Distribution Inc., RCA Victor continued producing stereos through 1984 when it acquired General Electric's Stereophile magazine subsidiary which continued publishing the magazine until 1990! Overall, during its 100 year life span, Rayon Corporation produced over 200 different types of optics products making it one of America's leading producers of optical devices!

Hickory is a small town in North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,818 at the 2010 census. Hickory is located in Chatham County and is part of the Asheville metropolitan area. Today's population size would make Hickory one of the smallest U.S. cities but it has managed to keep its identity by developing its own industries including automotive manufacturing, printing media, agriculture and stonecutting. In 1886 Hickory became one of twenty-four townships within Cherokee Nation under jurisdiction of the newly created Indian Territory; all other townships were added to Johnston County later that year pursuant to an act passed by Congress which enlarged Cherokee Nation into present-day Georgia and Alabama due to Indian reservations' annexation by those states during the civil war period. At this time much infrastructure development was not possible as there was no water or electricity available for many years while resources such as coal were extracted from nearby mines
