In 1853 Fenton sold his land to General Nathaniel Alexander Moore for $2,000 cash which represented an early investment in Henderson's future development as a commercial center due to its location near Raleigh and its rail access to markets throughout the southeastern United States

Scope Mounts History: The roots of the modern Scope Mount can be traced back to World War II when sniper rifles were needed to target enemy forces from long range. To achieve this goal, snipers relied on using either bipod or tripod systems to stabilize their rifles while shooting. These methods required extensive engineering and design which was typically done by military personnel working on aircraft or armoured vehicles. Bipod & Tripod Systems: During the early days of Scope Mounts technology, bipods were the most common method of mounting a rifle on a tripod system. A bipod consisted of two legs that connected at the ankles and could be held together with screws or cogs (pictured). The advantage of using bipods was that they allowed you to move your rifle around while still keeping it stabilized at all times - this was necessary for Sniper Ops deployments where accuracy was key. However, due to their popularity amongst militaries during wartime, bipods gradually became more difficult to manufacture and purchase than earlier designs. Tripod Systems: The development of the tripod system saw an increase in availability as manufacturers began producing larger models that could accommodate more weaponry (pictured). This increased stability not only when mounted on a vehicle but also when operating from different positions in relation to other objects within its surroundings - making it ideal for use by photographers or filmmakers seeking tight shots without fear of moving their camera too much). Unfortunately, because tripods required greater engineering effort than traditional bipods, they also became more expensive and less common over time (pictured below).
