So people turned to storage solutions like dog crates and car trunks for storage solution for household items like furniture, appliances etc.– often times these solutions had no end date until they became exhausted due to overuse or demolition (Moses 1990). Gun pouches continued being popular after this point but usually only among collectors who enjoyed displaying old guns or models (Henderson 1997). In recent decades there has been an increasing trend towards using gun pouches both for personal protection as well as collector’s items. In 1865, Confederate General Robert E. Lee's army attacked Union troops near nearby Kinston while they were on their way to surrender at Appomattox Court House. A battle ensued that left over 50 dead with over 800 wounded and 100 captured. The attack has been described as one of the bloodiest battles of the war. In 1861, Henderson voted to secede from North Carolina because it felt ignored by Governor Tryon and Northern politiciansickle instead of being allowed to join like other western counties which had already seceded (such as Raleigh). In 1861-1865, most of what is now Henderson County was part of Johnston County south of Roanoke River while parts including present day Henderson east side were in Alamance County north of Danville River until those counties were recombined into Johnston County when Alamance became part of NC after Reconstruction ended in 1865. The first post office opened in 1836 and continued operation until 1888; it was called "Newbern". In 1885 the name changed to "Henderson". The first store was built on what is now Main Street about 1840s or 1850s according to local history books but no records exist verifying this claim; there does not appear to be any documentation relating to this establishment from before that time either cuz there would have been no need for such an establishment given that post offices operated continuously until 1888 anyway! There are several theories circulating online regarding why this store may have been established prior to 1840 or even earlier: 1) It may have beenestablishment due to Captain John Henderson's connections within the local militia group known as the Patriots who helped protect Newbern during its early years 2) Another early store established near present day Springdale Road & US 20 could still be hiding behind some old trees! Some people believe that if this store did open then things started moving more quickly towards town status cuz residents didn't have TO leave their farms & homes just yet
