The company produced a wide variety of shotguns, rifles, pistols and ammunition through 1907. In 1924, the company merged with the Bristol Armory to form the Havelock Armory Corporation. The Havelock Armory Corporation continued production of firearms until 1986 when it sold its assets to International Harvester Incorporated
Havelock is a town in South Carolina located near the Georgia-Alabama state line. The population was 1,564 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Greenville–Spartanburg, SC Metropolitan Statistical Area. Havelock was founded in 1829 by General John Forbes and his wife, Anna Maria Havelock. In 1847, it became a post office with the name Berryville. The post office was renamed Havelock in 1879 after General William Troup's headquarters were located there. In 1906, Havelock had a school system that included one high school and twelve elementary schools; however, it closed its doors in 1969 due to budget cuts. The first African American to be elected as Mayor of Havelock was Hosea Coleman in 1978. African Americans also voted majority for him throughout his mayoral term which totaled six terms from 1978-1996 inclusive (he served two terms). Coleman resigned to run for Governor of South Carolina in 1996 but lost to incumbent Henry McMaster by over 20 percentage points.

Havelock is a town in Alamance County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Raleigh–Durham–Fayetteville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settler in Havelock was James Aiken, who arrived in 1792. He and his wife Anna were the first white people to live in what would become Alamance County. Aiken built a log cabin on the site of what is now downtown Havelock. In 1806, John Smith moved from Granite City, Illinois to start a new life as a farmer in this area and named his farm "Havelock". Smith's son-in-law James Moulton established another farm two miles northeast of present day Havelock. In 1821 George Washington Forrest founded an agricultural college near modern day Durham which later became Davidson College. One mile east of where Davidson College now stands stood a small road called "Forrest's Road" which served as the main route between Chapel Hill and Fuquay Varina (now Huntersville). The land on which today's downtown Havelock rests was owned by Forrest until he sold it to David Lowry in 1869. At that time, Pryor Place (now corner of High Street and Elm Street) began as an unpaved lot just south of where First National Bank now stands on High Street. It wasn't until after World War II that large tracts of land were developed around downtown Havelock with streetcar tracks running through it for commuters to work outside the city limits; this made possible much needed job growth within the city limits during those years despite some consolidation within Alamance County resultant from post-war development pressures elsewhere throughout North Carolina In 1906 there were only 7 residents living in Havelocks – by 1920 there had grown to over 100 residents with businesses located throughout downtown including several banks and stores including J C Penney & Co., Roper’s General Store #2 & #3 (later known as Macy’s Department Store), Ewing Drugs store #1 & #2 (later known as Lowe’s Hardware), Wiman’s Drugstore 4th Ave., Biltmore Hotel across High Street from original mill building still standing today (& operated by Holiday Inn chain at present day location), Girdersmith Shoes Factory (later Sears Roebuck & Company) - all while streetcar tracks ran through town center! By 1930 there also existed 2 churches: First Presbyterian Church built soon afterwards on high ground northwest of current pedestrian crossing site then First Baptist Church built further down Elm street immediately east of Girdersmith Shoes Factory), making Havelocks one Of America's most “downtownes” even before mass transportation came along !!
