In Graham, North Carolina there have been gun mags for over 100 years. The first gun mag in the area was started by a man named John W. Johnston in 1892. Johnston was a musty-smelling gunsmith who also had a small shop next to the post office. He developed the first magazine magazines that could hold multiple rounds and later became known as the "Father of Gun Magazines." Johnston's grandson, George H. Johnston, started another gun magazine company in 1934 which continued to produce magazines until 1988 when it merged with another company to become United Gun Magazines Incorporated (UGM). UGM produced popular models such as the Ruger 10/22 rifles and Remington 870 shotguns through their own factory and out of distributorships around the country. In 1998, UGM merged with Winchester Ammunition Company to form Winchester Arms Corporation (WAC). Nowadays, Winchester Arms produces related products like shotgun shells and ammunition under its own brand name (Winchester Ammunition) as well as selling firearms through authorized dealers.

The town declined after World War II as fishing and tourism replaced maritime activity as primary sources of revenue. However, Graham has seen recent revitalization with plans to add retail space, a new library, and new infrastructure such as an expressway and bridges connecting it to nearby towns. The town is known for its long history of peach orchards and golf courses that are home to some of the best Championship golfing in America.

The first handgun magazine, the Colt 1911 Magazines, was developed in 1911 by John Browning. During World War II, gun magazines became an important tool for soldiers to store and carry ammunition. A variety of new magazines were developed during the war such as the M-1 Garand magazine that could hold up to 124 rounds per issue and the M-14 Carbine mag which could hold up to 30 rounds per issue. In 1949, Winchester introduced its own mag system called "Winchester Model 94" which allowed soldiers to carry up to 40 rounds per issue with each individual round holding 3 inches of casings. The use of magazines has changed over time as various technologies have emerged. For example, early rifles used “bump stocks” which allowed them to fire multiple shots at once without having to reload. However, these stocks were not very reliable and eventually banned from military use in 1934 because they caused serious malfunctions. Today's rifles are typically fired using a "pulled trigger" method where the firearm fires one cartridge at a time instead of firing multiple shots at once like earlier rifles. This method is much more reliable and efficient than using bump stocks so they continue to be popular among shooters today!

Graham is an old town in North Carolina, located on the Yadkin River. It was founded by a group of Scots-Irish farmers in 1785, and became a post office in 1814. Graham was one of the original 12 counties of North Carolina. The population of Graham peaked at over 10,000 in 1910, but has since declined to around 5,000 today. The first settler at Graham was John McLaren, who arrived in 1785. He built a cabin on the current site of the town and raised chickens and pigs there until he started farming land nearby with his brother-in-law James Caldwell. In 1800, they both bought land east of Graham from Robert Randolph for $2 per acre. They began to grow corn and tobacco there until they sold their holdings to John Sevier in 1812 for $10 per acre. In 1813, Governor Tryon organized North Carolina into counties and established Graham as one of them. The town got its name from Major General Nathanael Greene (1746–1827), who served as its first mayor from 1814 to 1816 and then again from 1830 to 1834. In 1840, Colonel Nathaniel Henderson purchased some property northeast ofGraham from Captains William Spruce and Alexander McMullen for $8 per acre. He began farming there until his death in 1850; his son George Henderson took over the farm after him. After his death, it passed through several families before reaching the hands of Benjamin Tilden (1820–1904) who donated it to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1926 as part of a bequest entitled "Grambling House." After serving as president medical school dean at Chapel Hill during World War II (1946–1950), Dr., Samuel Jadwin Pritchard led UNC's purchaseoftheGraham Grambling House Museum on campusin 1962 which houses many items related to local history including artifacts dating backto preindustrial times
Graham is a town in Buncombe County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. Graham was founded in 1837 by Benjamin Graham and others as a post office on the adjacent Indian River. It became a town in 1865.
