The first Europeans to visit Gastonia were either traders or missionaries. A group of German Lutherans arrived in 1820 and began missionary work among the native Americans. In 1868, Gastonia became a town when it was annexed by Charlotte. The original name for Gastonia was "Fayetteville". In 1915, Winston Churchill called on General Dwight D Eisenhower to make a speech before the Canadian Press Club in which he urged Canadians to support America's entry into World War I because "America has been fighting for democracy since 1776." That year, Patton delivered a commencement address at UNC-Chapel Hill calling upon students "to enter this great battle with all your hearts and minds" After World War II ended, many businesses moved out of downtown Gastonia due to lack of business opportunity and competition from larger cities such as Charlotte. However, growth continued in downtown during the 1960s and 1970s as new businesses opened up along Fayetteville Street near UNC-Chapel Hill and throughout town Center Drive including several large shopping malls which remain today one of the most vibrant local areas in NC

It wasn’t until after his election that gun control advocates started using NRA logos on their clothing, which only continued to grow throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In 1992, NRA President Rick Dearborn hosted an event at Madison Square Garden where he used a T-shirt with an image of then-Senator Joe Biden – who had sponsored legislation increasing gun control – to promote gun rights. This was followed by other events across America featuring NRA leaders carrying guns with “NRA” written in large letters on them. In response to these events, anti-gun advocates created shirts that portrayed NRA members as villains or strawmen; these shirts would often feature images of rifles or handguns instead of people. Through this type of behavior, they hoped to create public opposition towards any increase in gun regulation and make it difficult for legislators to pass effective measures. By 1994, there were hundreds of such shirts available online and many different manufacturers had contributed designs including North Face, Levi’s 501 Blueshirts, Under Armour Team Sports tees, and more (see [1]). Over time things have changed: now anyone can buy a firearm t-shirt without needing any prior knowledge about firearms or Second Amendment rights! While some manufacturers still produce high quality items that represent expended effort from designers/ Manufacturers within the shooting community (e.g., North Face), most t-shirt printing companies simply print generic designs without much creativity or nuance (e.g., states like Texas). With so many standardized designs out there it can be hard for brands newbies like ourselves to break into the market; however we are committed to doing our best every day helped by diligent research into what makes good looking prints for firearm merchandising!
