In 1902, the club moved to its current location on North Tryon Street. The first pistol range opened in 1905. In 1916, the Elizabeth City Rifle and Pistol Club hired J.W. Griggs as their first instructor. In 1923, the club purchased a .22 caliber revolver from Wm. Haney of Wilmington, Delaware for use at their range. In 1931-1932, the club remodeled their Range House into a three-story building with an attached garage and rifle/pistol ranges on each flooring; this structure is still used today as the clubhouse complex for Elizabeth City Rifle & Pistol Club events and functions (See photo). Elizabeth City is a city in the U.S. state of North Carolina, on the Elizabeth River. The population was 7,011 at the 2010 census. It is part of Raleigh-Durham metropolitan area. The name "Elizabeth" comes from an Englishwoman who settled in this area in 1692 and named it for Princess Elizabeth, daughter of King Charles II of England and his queen Catherine of Braganza. The first permanent settler was John Atwater in 1735, who built a log cabin on the present site of downtown Elizabeth City. In 1739 Jedediah Blythe founded what would become Elizabethtown on land bordering the river to provide a market for his colonists' goods and services. In 1742 James Wade moved his stockade to what is now downtown Elizabeth City from Pisgah Island; he called it Fort Johnston because its location guarded the entrance to Durham County. In 1813, when Wake County was created, Elizabeth City became one of its five towns; it remained so until 1837 when Raleigh annexed it into Durham County as part of its annexation plan for that county. A post office called "Elizabeth" was established in 1824; it changed its name to "Raleigh" in 1838 due to political pressure from Durham Counties leaders who wanted their town renamed after their capitals cities - Charlotte or Winston-Salem (then known as Hillsborough). By 1860 Raleigh had outgrown Elizabeth City's limited resources, and so Raleigh annexed nearby Lenoir and Orange counties instead, leaving Elizabeth City with just 687 residents (less than 1% of Raleigh's population) under government supervision. With no industry or commerce available outside Raleigh, many citizens turned to agriculture which continued to be the primary economic activity until after World War II when automobiles began making up a larger share of local GDPs

This made it much easier for shooters to get precise shots at their targets without having to move their heads around constantly. Additionally, this smart laser Sight also had a 40x magnification which was much higher than any other laser Sight available at that time

In 1813, Elizabeth City was founded by the Raleigh-Durham Railroad Company as a town in what is now Wake County. The town was named for Queen Elizabeth I of England and was established on the banks of the Yadkin River. In 1827, Elizabeth City became the capital of North Carolina when it replaced Raleigh as the state's capital.Elizabeth City prospered during its early years thanks to its location at the mouth of the Yadkin River and its access to trade with other states. However, in 1854, an outbreak of cholera killed many residents ofElizabeth City and forced the city to abandon its prosperous status. Afterward, Elizabeth City struggled financially until it regained some stability in the late 19th century through initiatives such as housing development and education programs. In 1907, Elizabeth City became part of Durham County when that county was created from parts of Wake and Durham counties.Today, Elizabeth City is a small town with several hundred residents located within walking distance of several downtown businesses. The town is home to a public library and several museums including one dedicated to American literature. Additionally, Elizabeth City features an active arts community which has produced many prominent artists over the years including David Stone Martin and Ed Youngblood
Elizabeth City was the largest town in North Carolina and one of its most important trading posts. The town was founded by English colonists in 1735, and it became an important center for trade with the Spanish colonies in Florida and Mexico. In 1804, Elizabeth City was renamed for Queen Victoria after she came to power in England.
