The metropolitan areas of Chapel Hill/Fayetteville/Wake Forest total over 2 million residents while Research Triangle Park—the epicenter for technology companies—has a population size exceeding 5 million people! Additionally, nearly 60 percent of all new job creation since 2000 has taken place within 10 miles of downtown Raleigh or Chapel Hill!
