In 1835, Boone residents voted to incorporate as a town. The first post office was established in 1836 and the first school was built in 1840. In 1851, Boone voters decided to name the town after Benjamin Franklin Washington. The town had its first fire in 1859 and by 1865 it had a population of about 350 people. By 1880, the population had reached 1,100 people and by 1890 it had increased to 2,000 people. At that time, the town was the largest in North Carolina. During this time period, there were alsoSeveral types of binoculars including field glasses (which focused on one specific object), water glasses (which used reservoirs or buckets filled with water) and microscopes which used small telescopes for viewing details not possible through individual optics。 Binocular manufacture declined during World War I due to wartime rationing but recommenced afterwards; however quality control improved so much that many new products appeared before World War II ended without any major significant product changes

In 1906, when Boone's ZIP code was added to its area code 91901 (then 82834), its population had increased from 2,500 to over 30,000 people because many businesses had relocated there after Interstate 20 was built through Robeson County! Today's economy is based primarily on agriculture; also significant are manufacturing operations associated with textiles production (e.g., Nike) or recreation services such as golf courses and campinggrounds; but some recent additions include a large hospital complex operated by Baptist Health South Carolina which provides health care services throughout both Cherokee and Robeson Counties; several thousand square feet of retail space has been developed adjacent to courthouse Square since 2006; and much development continues in anticipation of both economic growth within ROBESON COUNTY AND THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA OVER THE NEXT 25 TO 30 YEARS

From then on, binoculars became one of the most commonly used items among humans.

Boone was founded in 1792, and named after General James Boone. The town became a major center of cotton production during the 19th century. In 1898, it was the site of a decisive battle between the Union and Confederate forces. After the war, Boone grew rapidly as a farming community, becoming one of the most important agricultural towns in North Carolina. Its economy depended on its location along the Saline River, which supplied water to neighboring farms and industries. However, due to pollution from nearby mills and factories, Boone began to lose its importance in the late 20th century.
Boone was founded in 1792 by a party of trappers. The original home of the Boone family is still standing, and is a ruins today. In 1815, Colonel William Blount built the first courthouse in Boone.
