Today, Troy is considered an important cultural hub for Eastern New York and is home to several major museums including Fordham University's School of Social Work and Management; New York City College; Empire State Development Corporation’s LaGuardia Airport Campus; and Empire State Development Corporation’s Albany Medical Center.
