Scope mounts are attachable devices that allow the use of a rifle's iron sights on a different receiver. The device is screwed onto the upper receiver and uses an eyelet to secure it in place. A scope mount typically has two parts, the base and the cup. The base contains screwholes that accept either one or two receivers, while the cup contains a sight post and lens (or other optic) assembly. When using a bipod or other accessory, it is often necessary to remove the Scope Mount from service in order to move it around. This can be done by unscrewing its screws and pulling it out of its housing; doing so leaves the mount free to rotate around its axis. To prevent this from happening, many manufacturers include some type of locking mechanism in their mounts which must be engaged before Removal can be completed; once released, Replacement can then be accomplished without having to remove any screws again.

Sleepy Hollow is a census-designated place located in Dutchess County, New York, United States. The population was 1,584 at the 2010 census. The Sleepy Hollow ZIP Code is 11035. Sleepy Hollow was first settled by Dutch colonists in 1624 and became known as "Hollow Head" because of its remoteness from the other settlements in the area. In 1714, Revolutionary War veteran Major General James Clinton named it after his plantation near Kingston, Rhode Island where he had been born and raised. In 1812, John Cushman sold what is now Sleepy Hollow to Nicholas Fenton for £6 per acre (2 hectares). At that time there were only two houses in Sleepy Hollow and no land around it. It didn’t take long before settlers began to arrive here and build log homes on the undeveloped land. By 1830 there were over 100 people living here. By 1840 the population had reached 350 with many more building up since then. The first school opened in 1811 in a small cabin on the north side of town while children attending neighboring schools gathered outside to hear teacher’s comments about lessons learned from their classmates within minutes of class starting! In 1827 an addition to this small school house was built which housed a library/theatre until 1968 when it burned down due to arson troubles! A post office called "Hollow Head" opened on November 15, 1827 and served residents until May 2, 1865 when it closed due to lack of mail traffic! A new post office called "Sleeping Beauty" was erected at its location on September 14th 1865 by Eliza Howland Houghton who also operated an inn that same year across from the original hollow head post office which remains standing today as part of Sleepy Hollow Village Hall complex! On February 20th 1916 local resident Elias Norris reported seeing “a most excellent ghost” walking southbound on Main Street between Highway 9 & 10 just past his house! This sighting led to numerous investigations throughout 1916 with very few results until December 3rd when Mrs Norris’ husband found body parts hidden behind bushes next door belonging to “The Lone Ghost” – yet again another mystery solved by homicide detective Joseph Addison later that year during one of his poorer performance reviews ! In 1951 Sleepy Hollow experienced some notoriety during Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde Week when several inhabitants reported seeing Hyde coming out of their home late at night followed soon thereafter by Jekyll emerging back into his own homeannounced quite gaily by all those present with perfect skin - leading some observers even to dub him “Dr Hyde Incarnate” !! Since then however much has changed including several homes being demolished thanks simplyto developers eager for more development opportunities - though often leaving behind evidence suggesting previous occupants still live amongst usalbeit unseen !! It wasn't until 2006 that authorities finally decided upon conducting an official investigation into what had become known as "The Ghost Of Little Richard". Initial speculation suggested that this could be nothing more than a case of mistaken identity but after further questioning it seemed clear that little Richard may have actually been killed sometime prior!! After months of research&investigation sleepylovellysleepypowerfullycom revealedthatyourfriendlyghostmayactuallybenothingmorethanjustanotherordinaryhumanbeingafterall !! It was first settled by the Mohawk people in 1795. The name Sleepy Hollow may originate from a Dutch word meaning "to sleep." The Dutch settlers at this location called the area "Wakefield" because they had been awakened several times during the night by loud noises coming from nearby forests. When they asked the local Indian tribe what these noises were, they replied that these were not noises but instead the rustling of leaves in the trees. The Indians also told them that there was a large family living there who went by the name of Weequahicoes and that they would be able to show them where this family lived if they could find their house. In 1801, when New York State was organized, Sleepy Hollow became part of Erie County. In 1827, it became part of Niagara County and then again in 1861 when it became part of Ontario County. In 1898, it reverted back to Erie County and currently remains within Niagara County. Since its earliest days as a settlement, Sleepy Hollow has been known for its unique history and culture: its rich Indian heritage; its Georgian Revival architecture; and especially its famous haunted house - which is still one of America's most popular tourist destinations today. The early history of Sleepy Hallow can be traced back to 1795 when French Canadian traders arrived here looking for new land to explore after leaving Canada’s Great Lakes region behind following their war with Britain over control over North America's fur trade routes. While some early colonists did settle here permanently – including Nicholas Biddle (the founder of Buffalo), his brother-in-law Benjamin Franklin (a delegate to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), Captain John Stevens (founder and first captain generalof American forces in World War II), Loyalist George Washington Carver Sr., and others – many more transient Europeans started arriving over time as different parts of North America opened up prospecting for land beyond their original frontiersmen Horizons Trading Company’s purchase from Sir William Johnson in 1794: 4 square miles (10 square kilometers). ThisPurchase included much older lands now within Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore – including portions now called Toronto Heights on Lake Ontario just northwest thereof – as well as an area lying between present-day Springdale Road near Seneca Nation reserves westward into Ontario Country before turning northwest toward Niagara Falls on Hennepin Creek bedding now within City limits adjacent thereto extending almost unto Kingston Township bounds on both shores above White Sands Beach until finally reaching Buffalo Harbour just southwesterly thereof at an altitude Of 3200 feet Above Mean Sea Level making it one third or lesslarger than any river or bay previously surveyed & boundaries thus ingrainsaid have never materially changed since date thereby forming one continuous tract… The purchase underscored British efforts to extend British influence over much larger areas around North America after their successful victory against France at Saratoga Ridge two years earlier in Quebec Valley….
