Sleepy Hollow is a small town in upstate New York, and part of the Mohawk Valley. It is located on the banks of the Hudson River, about 20 miles southeast of Albany and 30 miles northwest of Schenectady. This law remained in effect until 1988 when it was repealed by Town Board Resolution because there had been no reported cases of abuse under the ordinance itself.

In 1814, one of the Ginns family sons decided to move his family to what is now Sleepy Hollow. He named his new home Happy Valley because he felt that happiness was key to success in life. It wasn't until 1830 that another member of the Ginns family decided to move into Sleepy Hollow too. This man named his new home Pleasant Halt because he thought that peace and quiet were important aspects of good living. Over time, many other people moved into Sleepy Hollow too; some of whom names remainavanaugh still use it today! The first settlers in sleepy hollow claimed several different identities over time: Indian Chief Little Turtle (1775-1827), Colonel John Sullivan (1786-1852), General George Washington's aide-de-camp Sir Richard Montgomery (b 1755 - d 1839), Major James Kieft (1792-1848), Captain David Humphreys (1796-1860) and Reverend Elijah Hicks (1800 - 1863). Some claim these nomadic colonists only stayed at night while others say they spent all their time outdoors talking with nature! Regardless of which version you believe it came from – or if you even know about any such colonists – one thing is for sure; sleepiness was definitely not an option! As soon as Europeans arrived in America they found themselves struggling against Native Americans who had been living here for centuries! For most Europeans this conflict was just another stop on their journey westward – but for Native Americans it was something more than just warring tribes: this place held spiritual significance! The natives called this area "Sleepy Hollow" because when they would go there during deer hunting trips they would fall asleep without getting lost in all those woods! There must have been something special about this place which made them so inclined to stay put overnight while surrounded by nothing but trees and sky? Anyway, over time European settlers started moving into this area too and before long everything here had become known as Sleepy Hollow! Some famous residents from back when SleepingHollow existed include author Washington Irving (the namesake behind Parson Weare's Pub & Grill), Congressman Elijah Cummings (D– Maryland), actor Tom Hanks (), game show host Phil Keoghan (), Mayor Anthony Weiner (), singer Lenny Bruce (), composer Harry Gregson Wagner (), actor/writer Christopher Lloyd (), comedian Jon Stewart () and more recent residents like Hillary Clinton (!?), Kanye West(), Taylor Swift(), Beyoncé Knowles(), Justin Timberlake() etc., etc…

In 1830, local farmer George Brown erected a large frame house on what is now upper Sayre Street which served as the town hall until 1847 when it burned down due to arson. This fire caused some significant changes within Sleepy Hollow as it became more business oriented with only one store functioning as an important center for village life instead of five prior to this event (the other four being taverns). This store later became known as The Greenback House and still stands today across Frome Road from Utica High School where it currently serves as a museum open to the public annually on Memorial Day weekend (although special hours are observed Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm). After this fire occurred several other buildings were added including Airstream trailer park near present day Utica Middle School which served as both residences and businesses for residents throughout its lifespan; also note that ovens used at this time were quite rudimentary compared with modern ovens so see below for details about this building . There were also about twenty or thirty houses scattered around Village Square; these have all since been demolished or replaced by newer structures however some remnants remain such as stairs leading up from Main St towards Churchyard Drive where they may still be seen today; these lead directly into Cemetery Rd., just outside present dayUtica’s limits! (Although no longer inhabited by humans) All told there must have been around eighty people living in Sleepy Hollow at its peak while over two hundred people lived within commuting distance according to contemporary census records created specifically for this purpose . Although much smaller than present day Utica population numbers approximately one hundred fifty years ago many aspects of today’s Sleeping Hollow culture – such as social drinking establishments like The Greenback House – still continue uninterrupted centuries after their inception! These days you can find them easily enough if you look hard enough but their roots go far deeper than simply surface appearances . So much so that even some things that seem strange or out of place today – like evidence remaining from early 20th century fires – actually date back centuries !
