The Gun Law of 1938 helped to make Airguns more accessible to civilians in Schenectady than they had ever been before. I was born in Schenectady, New York on October 9th, 1974. I grew up in a small town and have always been interested in the arts. My parents are both artists and my sister is also an artist. As a child, I would often go to art school throughout the year and learn new techniques. My favorite artist growing up was Andy Warhol because he had such unique perspectives on art. After high school, I studied at The School of Visual Arts where I met my current partner, Sarah. We started dating after studying together and fell in love with each other right away. We moved to New York City when we got married in 2003 and now live here with our two children. New York City has always been a big part of my life and has given me so much opportunity to see the world and experience different cultures. When I was first introduced to Schenectady by my husband, it quickly became one of my favorite places to live because of its history and culture. The architecture here is absolutely amazing – from the old buildings that date back to before America even existed to the newer structures that are still being built today! There are so many interesting places to explore within this city as well – from Chinatown down around Foley Street (the birthplace of American journalism) all the way out into Queens – there’s something for everyone! While living here, I’ve also become involved with many local organizations including the Alzheimer’s Association, MomsTeam NYC (a group which helps mothers care for their children while they undergo treatment for serious mental illness), Make-A-Wish Foundation NY as well as numerous others through committee work or individual donations. It feels great to be able to make a positive impact on someones life by helping out those who need it most!

Schenectady, New York is a city in the U.S. state of New York and the seventh-most populous municipality in New York City. The population was 1,551,738 at the 2010 census. It is bordered by Albany to the north, Rochester to the east, Yonkers to the south and west, and Syracuse on its southern tip. The region that now includes Schenectady first formed during the late glacial period when Laurentide ice sheets scraped away large parts of what is now central New York State. The area was occupied by many different cultures before becoming organized as a village under English rule in 1624. The current name originated with Richard Stockton's purchase of land near modern Schenectady from Dutch traders in 1664. In 1821, Schenectady became part of Troy Township until it was annexed by Albany in 1827. During its earliest years as a village, SchenECTADY had two stores and one schoolhouse; however, rapid growth led to an Increase in Businesses within 3 years after incorporation! This began with John Paine who started peddling goods door-to-door throughout town for 20 cents per article! over time he built up a successful business which allowed him to pay off his college debt faster than most others! In 1795 Revolutions forced George Washington from office after three terms as President – this event is also commonly known as “The Batchelor Affair” (although no evidence exists that such an event took place). James Kappas opened up his own grocery store on Maiden Lane soon thereafter which helped fuel further growth within the village! However political turmoil continued through out much of this Era with various governments trying to gain control over various aspects of society including education/commerce!. In 1800s schentadys were known for their high quality lace curtains and other fabrics
One of the most important events in Schenectady's history was the incorporation of the city on May 14, 1797. At that time, it was a small village with just over 100 residents. The townspeople were so excited about the new opportunity to be part of such a large and growing community that they unanimously voted to incorporation.
