In 1951, President Harry S Truman visited Saratoga Springs while he was attending Cold War summit meetings at Yalta-Dayakovskoye which were being held nearby at Sheremetyevo Palace just outside Moscow. When he left Yeltsin's Russia, he took a bus driver named Jackpot into town who told him about "the White House" - another name for what is now Oneonta Street - that served as his hotel room throughout his visit (and still does). After leaving Cold War meetings at Yalta-Dayakovskoye and returning home via train from Moscow by way of Potsdam late on July 16th 1951 US presidents use Oneonta Street as their room from then until they leave office January 20th 1953 This tradition continued until 2009 when Barack Obama moved into Executive Mansion #1 after leaving Washington D C . On October 15th 2009 Obama made national history when he became the 44th president by living in temporarily homeless housing called "Housing Works" located on 576 Fifth Avenue between 23rd Street NW & 24th Street NW near L’Enfant Plaza) Inaugurated November 4th 2009
