Gun chokes (technically, choke hold) are a type of choking technique used to gain control of an opponent. It is typically used as a submission move in mixed martial arts and wrestling. Choke Holds can be classified into a few different types depending on the person's strength and size. They can also be categorized by how tight they are against the opponents throat: manual choke, death shroud choke, open-air choke, or Hughes choke. In both mixed martial arts and wrestling, manual chokes are usually used for controlling opponents with one hand while using the other hand to pull the opponent closer; death shroud chokes use a Death Grip position which restricts breathing and causes suffocation; open-air chokes allow more airtime but also put greater pressure against the windpipe so that suffocation may occur from lack of oxygenation; and Hughes choked uses both hands with his thumbs locked together then pulled towards his head

Rockville Centre, New York is a city in the Central New York Region of New York, United States. The population was 968 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Syracuse–New Rochelle, NY-NJ-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Rockville Centre area was first settled by Native Americans in 1764. The town was named for Colonel John Ritchie, a British settler and landowner who purchased 6,000 acres (2 km²) of land in what is now Rockville Centre from the Mohawk people in 1772. In 1812, Colonel Robert Fulton built his mill on the edge of what is now Midtown and erected a wooden stockade to protect it from faulty water supplies. He named this section of town Fulton Landing because he had caught glimpses of ships anchored there during his voyages downriver from Albany. In 1827, George Washington moved his presidential library from Mount Vernon to nearby Columbia Point on Long Island and instructed his son James Kapp to purchase some 380 acres (150 ha) of land at present-day Rockville Centre for use as a presidential plantation. James Kapp built up this property into one of America's largest plantations until its sale to General Motors in 1957. In 1892, Alfred Payson Mather bought 1/4 mile (0.6 km²) east of Main Street along Lake Ontario shoreline for $5 per acre (1/100th mile). This tract became known as Mather's Marsh after him and became an important agricultural center during the early years of modernity in New York State due to its proximity to sources of irrigation water and access to markets for produce such as apples and poultry products. Rockville Centre is a city in New York. It was founded on October 24, 1794 by Major General George Washington and was named for his birthplace of Rockville in Prince Edward County, Virginia. The population of Rockville Centre was 12,200 at the 2010 census. It is the primary commercial center for Nassau County and is located on Long Island. It is also known as "The Village". The first permanent settler in what would become Rockville Centre was Alexander Hamilton who purchased land from the Mohawk people in 1794. The town began as a small agricultural community with some 10-15 homes and a few businesses. In 1814, it became the capital of Nassau County after New York State gained statehood that year. In 1824, Congress established the Erie Canal to transportation goods between Buffalo and Albany through central New York along what would become Route 1A (now part of Interstate 95). This drove development around Route 1A which soon became known as "the artery" or "the Main Street of America." During World War II, Rockville Centre played an important role in providing munitions production for Allied forces stationed in New York City while also helping to create airfields across the island which were used during the war including Roosevelt Field on Long Island and Beechhurst Air Force Base on Staten Island. After World War II ended, many factories closed down but new ones proliferated throughout downtown because of postwar growth in local manufacturing jobs rather than outside competition from abroad or international imports. In 1964, Mayor John Lindsay renamed Downtown Boulevard after his predecessor Rudolph Giuliani's push for more pedestrian friendly streetscapes within city limits; this brought about widespread positive response from residents who saw their neighborhoods improve following this change although some mixed feelings about increased traffic congestion caused by new development along newly designated streetscapes – especially near high schools which had been earmarked for retail development but now found themselves at the mercy of car-dependent motorists. Overall success against resistance led to further designation of adjoining blocks northward towardsyoutube headquarters before eventually terminating abruptly at 15th Avenue North (now Eighth Avenue) just east of I-95 exit 8B/9A; creating one large arterial streetcape remnant within one contiguous borough block thus continuing Giuliani's plan but with far less foot traffic potential due to its location closer to major highways serving other parts of Greater NYC rather than Internal Town Center functions that defined much wider portions thereof pre-Lindsay Streetscape transformation initiatives
Rockville Centre, New York was a census-designated place in Rockville Centre County, New York, United States. The population was 508 at the 2010 census. The name of the CDP comes from nearby Spuyten Duyvil and its first settler, Nicholas de la Salle. The land for which Rockville Centre is named was part of the manor complex of Westchester County that de la Salle purchased in 1686 from the Dutch. The CDP was created as a result of an agreement made between the Town of New Rochelle and the City of Manhattan on December 3, 1990.
