Lake Grove is a small town in Erie County, New York, United States. The population was 594 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. By 1895, Lakeside Creamery had been founded and soon began churning out some of New York's most famous cream puffs. Today, Elmira Creamery remains one of town's most important economic engines with five locations across three states: two inside town limits (in Elmira proper and Canandaigua), one located just outside of town limits near Ithaca (on Route 14), and one on an adjacent farmstead where operations ceased after 2007 due to health concerns related to proximity to Genoaella Healthcare Inc.'s facilities there.
