When word got out about how easy it was to produce apples hereabouts, people from all over came looking for an opportunity to get into this unique fruit business too! In 1946-47 alone more than 2,000 farmers from all over Niagara Falls helped boom apple production with new methods like fingerpicking and grafting techniques which would later lead to popular Applesauce products like Golden Delicious and Granny Smith; today’s tree-ripened Apples are still handpicked in our Orchard! From these humble beginnings Apple Pie has grown into one of America’s most renowned comfort foods enjoyed by millions around the world!
