In 1925, Kenneth Fenton opened a dry goods store in what is now known as the downtown district which quickly grew into one of the most important commercial areas in town. Fenton's generosity helped lead to another boom time for Kenmore with businesses opening up all over the place: schools, churches and hospitals were built during this time period and local artists produced many famous works of art which can still be seen today within the walls of some of these buildings such as Oneonta Elementary School and First Presbyterian Church (now The United Methodist Church). However, despite this growth there were also some problems faced by Kenmore during this time; such as development along Route 10 towards Center Street which destroyed many homes and businesses while creating a large open space called "the Mall" where people could purchase items they couldn't possible afford from small stores dotting around it; nevertheless these issues did not deter residents or business owners from continuing to thrive even during difficult times however until recently when fears have arisen about environmental damage being done toKenneth Fenton Park due to cars driving slowly through it at high speed making loud noises which can be heard throughout much of central New York City - Reportedly this issue has been largely resolved but more research needs to be conducted

Kenmore is a town in the Catskills region of New York, United States. The population was 5,021 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Rochester, New York Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settlers in what would become Kenmore were French colonists who came to work on the new Albany Canal in 1786. The town's name comes from an early settler, Jonathan Kenmore, and his family's home at Compton Plantation near where present-day Main Street crosses it. In 1828, John Stephenson built a gristmill and sawmill on the south shore of Lake Ontario just east of town. These mills made flour for local markets and also produced lumber for building construction in Rochester and other towns around the canal ring. In 1874, US Senator William Halsey took up residence in Kenmore while he was campaigning for reelection to his seat in New York State. After leaving office, he returned to Kenmore and began a series of annual visits that has continued to this day. In 1896, Samuel Morse set up shop here as well – this was one of the few times when telephone service was available between cities within commuting distance (at that time). During World War II (1939-1945), many people from rural areas moved into Town around military bases or manufacturing plants which had opened up during those years like General Motors or ConAgra Foods west of Buffalo; these people contributed materially to its growth over time including becoming homeowners through purchases or covenants against interest payments on mortgages taken out by their landlords/ employers during wartime times (a practice known as " wartime lending"). It wasn't until after Hurricane Floyd struck central New York in 1999 that some residents decided they wanted their own township - largely because there had been no significant development since then outside of churches/schools/villages surrounding Armstrong Air Force Base on Long Island City Boulevard north of town center with access only via long driveways leading back into town blocks long before any villages existed within walking distance anymore! After much discussion among elected officials throughout all twelve townships within our borders about whether or not it would make sense either to create a municipality form or simply annex neighboring communities' village forms we finally went ahead with an ordinance being passed by both chambers on December 12th 2003 establishing TownshipKenmoreonLong islandcity BoulevardwithextensiontothetownofPoughkeepsieandthetownofEast Aurora
Kenmore was founded in 1795 by William Kenmore and his wife Deborah. The town was named for the first settler, Samuel Kenmore, who arrived in 1794. The town grew rapidly during the 1800s, and by 1820 it had a population of over 1000 people. In 1828, the town voted to incorporate as a city. By 1870, the population had grown to over 3400 people. Over time, Kenmore became one of the most important cities in New York County and played an important role in its economy and politics. In 1961, it merged with the neighboring village of Westchester to form the new city of Yonkers.
