Garden City, New York is a small town in upstate New York, located on the east bank of the Hudson River. In recent decades several new subdivisions have been built within central Garden City while other residential areas have grown adjacent to it on both sides of Route 9W which connects it with Interstate 95 and suburban communities on both sides of Route 9N which connect it with Buffalo Township on the north side and White Plains Township on the south side
