However, one major post-war manufacturing boom occurred when aluminum cans started being produced here starting in 1951; today aluminum can manufacturing remains an important industry hereabouts with significant jobs still located within the town limits.. Many new subdivisions have been created over time throughout much of central and western New York due to population growth or considerations surrounding specific needs like schools (frequently duplication has led to overcrowding), shopping malls (replacing small villages near airports), open space (including large expanses of wetlands) etc.; but few are situated within town limits themselves – making it easy for residents/workers alike for groceries/ recreation/etc., without ever having to leave their homes!
