Endicott, New York is home to one of the most diverse gun parts history communities in the United States. The town has a rich and colorful history that dates back to 1814. At that time, Endicott was part of Albany County and was known as "The Gunners' Village." Today, Endicott is a small town located in western Suffolk County, New York, about 15 miles west of Rochester. It had a population of just under 7,000 in 2000. In 1814, there were only four guns in the entire village. The guns belonged to the men who ran the place- thegunsmiths and blacksmiths who made all the weapons used by the militia and other local people. These days there are more than 100 firearms from this era still on display at various locations throughout Endicott. One of these guns is an old piece of artillery equipment called an 'Old Ironside'. This cannon had been salvaged from British military ships which had been captured during the American Revolution. It was brought to America and stored at Fort Orange on Long Island until it was decommissioned in 1824. In 1825, it was sold to John Purdy of Endicott for $200 cash and taken over by his son John Purdy Jr., who kept it at home until 1893 when it finally disappeared into obscurity again! Another important weapon from this time period is a muzzleloader called 'The Pequod'.This gun was designed by Nathaniel Parker Morse and first manufactured in 1795. It fired shot with a longbow design which caused great damage when deployed against Native Americans upstate during this time period (see also: Indian Removal). There are also several pistols from this period on display including one that is still being used today as part of law enforcement training exercises out of Castle Hill Police Department upstate New York!

Most stock components are replaceable although some stocks are not adjustable

This incident has been cited as one of the most famous moments in local history
