Cohoes, New York is a small town located in Upstate New York, about an hour and a half from Albany. The community was founded in 1825 by members of the Dutch Reformed Church. Today, Cohoes is a microcosm of American rural life. It's home to around 1,000 residents and has a population density of just over 20 people per square mile.
