The Amityville Horror happened on October 15th, 1978 in the town of Amityville, New York. The tragedy began when three young children, aged 6, 8 and 10 years old were found dead inside their home with gunshot wounds. Lying next to them was the 9mm Glock handgun that their mother had just bought for them. quickly becoming known as the “weapon of choice” in the town because of its ease of use and lethality, this firearm is also responsible for multiple murders throughout New York City over the years. Although it is not clear how or why these children becamevictims of gun violence, it does seem that there was a pattern developing between their mother’s purchase of this weapon and her son’s frequent access to it. This gun has been blamed for many brutal murders across America since its inception, including that of John Lennon while he was living in New York City. In fact, after one such incident in which a gunman opened fire on a crowd near Madison Square Garden during anNBA game, NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly ordered all handguns taken from citizens under 25 years old and placed into storage until further notice. In recent decades though there have been some changes made to how guns are purchased and used in America- both by those who own firearms and by law enforcement officials themselves- making it less likely that similar tragedies will occur again at any time soon. One such change came about after the Sandy Hook shootings which left 20 schoolchildren and six adults dead before Parkland County Sheriff Scott Israel took office. With more than two dozen active investigations being conducted into mass shootings involving firearms in America right now (the majority taking place within Texas), it seems highly likely that this type of tragedy will never happen again in Amityville or anywhere else like it!

Caroline then shockingly reveals that she has special powers that make her immune to bullets - which apparently makes them very easy targets for these shooters. As people begin to fall victim to gunfire and injury at home, it becomes clear that this group of strangers is not content with just taking advantage of these innocents; they want to take out everyone in town as well! As things become increasingly dangerous, it seems as if only those who can fight back will be safe...but can they?

Amityville is a town in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 3,257 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metropolitan area. Amityville is located on the eastern border of the town of Westchester and is bordered by Sleepy Hollow to the north, Valhalla to the east, and Mount Pleasant to the south. The name "Amityville" comes from an Iroquois word meaning peaceful or tranquil. The early settlers were farmers who came from upstate New York and brought their crops with them to Amityville. In 1764, General George Washington stopped at Amityville for food and lodging during his march through southern New York. His troops stayed in Amityville for two weeks before continuing their journey. In 1803, Rev. Benjamin Franklin lived in what is now called Franklin Square in Amityville while he served as pastor of Congregationalist Church there. He later donated land to build a schoolhouse on which he also built a chapel and renamed it after himself – Franklin Academy (now known as SUNY–Albany). In 1825, John Rensselaer bought property near present-day Spring Valley Road and Spring Street in Amityville; he named it Troy Hill after his friend Alexander Hamilton's estate in Albany Hills (present-day Troy). A year later, Rensselaer sold most of his holdings to Ezra Stiles Jr., one of Manhattan's first white commercial investors; Stiles developed much of western Niagara County into an agricultural center with large tracts given away free to poorer families through what are now public programs administered by local governments including Syracuse City Hall and Niagara Falls Community College In 1881 Drury Lane School District No 2 merged with seven other schools districts that had been organized since 1870 into Oneida County Schools District No 1; this district included all of Ontario County until 1998 when it became Erie County Public Schools District No 1 due to mergers among various county districts throughout Erie County On July 14, 1909,[1] four people living inside an old sawmill barn at 4669 Elmira Rd., west side of town (near today's intersection of Elmira Rd./Route 590) reported hearing strange noises coming from beyond their door2;[2] soon Investigation revealed that four residents—Edwin Mudgett Sr., William Hogue Jr., Bernard Bogan III, James Wolkowitz—had died suddenly within a week prior from injuries they sustained while trying unsuccessfully to escape from the barn which was uninhabitable because it was surrounded by tall trees bordering a swampy field3: all four men were killed instantly when falling out of an upper window onto exposed roots below

One resident described seeing groups of people running around with what looked like fire jumping out of their clothes, others said they could hear someone screaming inside their home. In all, six people were killed and three dozen more were injured in what is now considered one of the worst mass murders in United States history. The tragedy began on January 17th 1978 when four women who worked at an adjacent shopping mall called to report seeing something strange outside their window. When they got closer they realized that there was nothing outside except for some flames burning in what must have been an abandoned car. soon after, two other workers arrived at work and saw another car on fire just beyond the mall's fenceline. They tried to put it out but it only became worse as flames spread faster than anyone could help. As night fell, residents started to flee for fear that more victims would be found inside their homes or outside the mall itself. Only one man remained behind – his 21-year-old son John Lennon – who barricaded himself inside his home with his mother and nine-year-old sister Yoko Ono while terrified family members ran into neighboring towns for safety. At daybreak on January 18th 1978, police arrived to find John Lennon dead from gunshot wounds; he had shot himself as officers approached his home looking for him. The events leading up to Lennon's death are still largely unknown but some believe that he may have known about the attack plan and went along with itout choice rather than face justice
