His other daughters also survived young adulthood but withdrew from society and developed mental health problems that have continued to this day. In 1954, when investigators arrived at their home after hearing about an eerie noise coming from outside they found four corpses inside their home which had been mutilated beyond recognition withsects running through their hair and mouths Open mouthed screams could be heard emanating from within as well as evidence of child sexual abuse going on for many years prior to that point . Initial testing revealed traces of cyanide throughout the property which likely killed all four victims .
