One such broadcaster was KGTV Channel 3 which started operations on September 2nd 1951 Under ownership by National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), it aired newscasts from 5am until 10pm during prime time across all NBC networks including flagship network CBS:Roswell's only television station at that time!
