Las Vegas, New Mexico is home to the world's largest gun laser exhibit. The Gun Laser Museum/Hall of Fame was dedicated in 1983 and features more than 2,000Gun Laser guns and devices from around the world. It also has a library with over 100 books aboutgun lasers and their history.

There are many types of lasers used in firearms. Gun lasers use short, wide-spectrum light to fire projectiles. The most common type is the red and green laser, which is used to shoot arrows and other small objects. Other types include the violet and blue laser, which are used for aiming rifles and handguns. Gun lasers have been around since at least the 1960s. A Red Laser gun uses a 627nm wavelength of light while a Green Lasergun uses 706nm wavelength of light. The differences between these two types depend on how they are fired; Red Laserguns can be fired with either single or simultaneous shots, while Green Laserguns require reloading every time they fire a shot because the energy from each hit shorts out the firing pin on the magazine). The first gun lasers were designed primarily for military applications such as anti-aircraft warfare, anti-personnel warfare and artillery support. These early devices were not very accurate at ranges over 100 meters (330 feet), so they were replaced by more accurate devices such as red and green laser sights that could be attached to rifles or handguns in later years. In recent years, new technologies like Millimeter wave (3G) Lasers have come onto the market that offer great potential for civilian use too. A millimeter Wave laser consists of tiny waves of light that pass through air without being reflected or scattered like infrared radiation does. This makes it much easier to target moving targets due to its invisibility and lack of scatterability when looking into space from close up

They were initially designed to be very accurate and work well in close quarters situations. However, over time they have become more popular as a general purpose weapon laser.

The first settlement in what is now Clark County was made on November 8, 1864 by men from Phoenix and Santa Fe who were traveling to explore new land that lay west of the Sierra Madre Occidental Mountains. They named their new town Las Vegas after nearby Mount Charleston because it was warmer than near Mount Charleston in Arizona. In 1915, Harry Houdini found gold at Safford Well and decided to name his operation Goldfield-Houdini after himself and his friend and partner John Hutton. In 1933, MGM Mirage became part of MGM Records with Harry Cohn as its president; he renamed it MGM Grand (later MGM Mirage). On October 20, 1935—the day before Halloween—John Foyt founded the racecar racing organization Pahrump Raceway with $100 borrowed from banker James Foyt to host a NASCAR race at what would become Las Vegas Speedway (now known as Auto Club Speedway). This event started what would become one of motorsports' most popular traditions: car races on dirt tracks around America's "hometown". On May 15, 1959 Elvis Presley performed at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino opening night during his only attempt at live performances outside Graceland where he had resided since childhood."Elvis: A Life in Pictures" As Presley began his show there were cheers from the audience when he took his final bow with "Guitar Man", which set off an intense sequence where numerous photographers captured every move Presley made onstage including taking off his shirt while standing up for air guitar solos. 1970s rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa played two shows opposite The Who at Desert Inn Arena on July 9th & 10th 1975 saw heavy flooding throughout downtown Las Vegas which caused some damage but no fatalities; this led to Mayor Richard Minkler declaring Monday nights as “Las Vegas Cleanup Night”.
