There are also three churches in the town: First Baptist Church (founded 1912), Second Baptist Church (founded 1906), and Methodist EpiscopalChurch (founded 1901). -The Gourd Patch Grille is open from 11am to 10pm Monday through Friday; 11am to 9pm Saturday; 12pm to 8pm Sunday

As one moves through its lengthy history there are snippets here and there but overall it’s an interesting read about how different individuals have shaped not only what has happened within its borders but throughout Pecos County itself in recent decades.
