The Farmington, New Mexico gun case history dates back to 1892. That year, the town of Farmington was founded by farmers and ranchers. The first settlers in Farmington were white men who came to the area to farm. As time went on, more and more people moved into the town, and eventually it became a heavily populated community with a population of over 2,000 people. The early settlers in Farmington were very interested in firearms. They built their own guns and storage facilities to keep their weapons safe and secure. Over time, the townspeople started purchasing firearms from various manufacturers. Some of these purchases included handguns from Smith & Wesson, rifles from Colt, shotguns from Winchester, and even pistols from Remington. One of the most famous gun cases that occurred in Farmington was that of Willard Dixon. Dixon was an American patriot who served in World War I as an artilleryman with the United States Army’s Ninth Infantry Regiment. When war ended, Dixon decided to return home and start a new life in FarmINGTON He purchased a short-barreled shotgun called the Pump Shotgun from Peacemaker Firearms Company Ltd., which is now located at 605 S Main Street in Farmington’s Old Town district (the old jail building also housed Peacemaker Firearms Company Ltd.). Dixon used this shotgun for hunting game such as deer and turkey until he acquired his own rifle some years later – this rifle is currently on display at the Museum of New Mexican History located at 505 E 1st Street in downtown FarmINGTON). In 1922, Farmer John Weiland opened his Own Gun Shop on Second Avenue near what is now Old Town Square (the Weiland Store still stands today). One of John Weiland’s early customers was Ozzie Barnes (a local farmer who had immigrated to America some years earlier), who bought several handguns including two Smith & Wesson revolvers – one model number snub nose revolver T811/12S9 caliber .357 Magnum (.44 Special) - these handguns are currently being exhibited at the Museum of New Mexican History located at 505 E 1st Street in downtownFarmINGTON). In 1924 less than two years after opening his shop John Weiland passed away suddenly leaving behind an estate valued at $3 million dollars! It has been reported that many items belonging to John Weiland including his collection of pistols were lost during prohibition era seizures by law enforcement agencies across America!

Farmington, New Mexico is a small town located in south-central New Mexico. The population of Farmington was estimated at 7,500 in the 2010 census. The first people to live in what is now Farmington were Native American hunters and gatherers who traveled between Taos Pueblo and Albuquerque during the late 18th century. In 1847, General Manuel Armijo decided to establish a military post in what is now Farmington after observing Spanish troops retreating from Santa Fe after their Battle of Buena Vista. On July 10, 1847, word arrived at Fort Armijo that Mexican forces had retreated following an artillery engagement near Buena Vista Creek. General Armijo ordered his men to abandon their supplies and march back to Albuquerque without having fought any battles. He believed that he could hold Ranchos de La Union until reinforcements arrived from Santa Fe. This decision led to much criticism among his officers who saw this as an example of Dictatorship by a Topeka man over seasoned soldiers; however, Armijo later achieved national fame for leading successful campaigns against Mexican forces at Buenavista Creek and Atitlan Creek. One result of this growth was the construction of schoolhouses in early 1850s which educated some members of the community about western civilization while also providing work for local farmers during winter months when roads were not available or when goods could not be transported across country due to snow drifts or bandits raiding villages along the way. By 1860, there were only six families living in what is now Farmington with most residents working on nearby farms or ranching operations such as those run by Captain John Hennepin Forrester on Ranchos de las Posadas just east of town (now part of Socorro). By 1870s two churches had been built: one Methodist Episcopal (1868) and one Presbyterian (1870). In 1880s two more schools were built: onechool for girls opened in 1886 and another Boys’ School opened in 1889 which became Holy Cross Catholic High School after it merged with Our Lady's Academy Parish (now part of Socorro) In 1907 land adjacent to Old Town Cemetery became available through donation by Mrs Florence Kapp Smith who owned three hundred acres adjoining her home near downtown Farmington including portions surrounding Old Town Cemetery where services are still held today . Ms Smith donated all but 20%of her property comprising nearly 4 square miles including parts surrounding Old Town Cemetery where services are still held today resulting in its current name: Farmers & Friends Church graveyard . It has been CEMETERY QUEEN since 2007 making it one OF THE Largest NON-Vaulted GRAVEHOUSES IN NM!
