The history of optical accessories in Albuquerque dates back to 1892, when a group of businessmen founded the Optical Instrument Manufacturing Company. The company produced a wide variety of products, including microscopes, telescopes, and Binoculars. In 1916, the company became part of the Radio Corporation of America (RCA). RCA continued to produce optics until 1974. During that time, the company produced a wide range of products including televisions, radios, and lasers. In 1978, Albuquerque-based American Optics Corporation was founded by two businessmen from Rochester Hills Michigan who had been involved in the production of television equipment for RCA. American Optics manufactured high-quality eyeglasses and sunglasses as well as other optical devices. The company soon became known for its innovative product designs and quality control standards. American Optics was acquired by Litton Industries in 1999 and ceased operations within two years. Today there are few remaining remnants of Albuquerque's long history with optical accessories manufacturing. However, thanks to the efforts of local enthusiasts - many of whom have preservedAmerican Optics' archives - these relics can still be enjoyed today for all to see!

At this time, WKSI became an umbrella organization for many different companies that manufactured optical equipment including: Lambert Glass Company; Humble Oil and Chemical Company; Western Electric Company; Mohawk Camera and Television Corporation; North American Gyroscope Corporation; and others... It wasn't until 1978 that Optical America was founded as an independent subsidiary of JBL Corporation when Willis-Knighton & Sons sold their share in WKSI to Simon Property Group Ltd.. Albuquerque, New Mexico is a city in and the county seat of Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The population was 1,531,824 as of 2019. In 1828 Franz Kapp created an instrument called an Ophthalmoscope which allowed physicians to see inside human eyes using light waves instead of just dark Shadows (Kapp 1828). Many surgeons began wearing ophthalmoscopes during surgery in order to avoid getting blood on their hands (Lloyd 1908; McIntosh 1916; Breen 1916; Sperry 1922). However, it was not until 1879 that Sir John Herschel first used a lensed telescope at Manchester Observatory in England for observing stars & planets (Herschel 1879). From this humble beginnings, Europe's astronomical community soon advanced beyond crude instruments into more sophisticated devices capable Of magnification & resolution. One important advance that occurred during the late 19th century was the development of binoculars with objective lenses made from two pieces machined together so that each eye could see separately what was happening around them while looking through one piece of glassware (Davenport 1902b; Hargrave 1897a). This process is also sometimes referred to as an "ascending mirror" system because it allows objects close up at one end while allowing views distant objects nearsighted individuals can view far away using only one eye (Watson 1895). A similar advancement took place with contact lens technology: prior to 1918 people used kerosene lamps or rays heated by handkerchiefs or fires in order to melt down wax particles applied directly onto their eyesighted areas) but this method only worked for those who could SEE clearly enough! In 1917 British scientist John Metzger invented a Contact Lens Device which permitted good vision even when wearing glasses indoors however he failed to patent his invention until 1923 Mirsky et al. It should be noted that many inventions resulting from optical improvement during this period went unpublished because no patents were filed until recently following increased interest in old technologies after new discoveries about their potential health benefits . As we move into recent history it is interesting note how certain advances have led directly towards new trends in optical technology including digital camera design being heavily reliant on image processing circuitry implementing Bayer filters etc.) .
