Woodbury is a town in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 10,827 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Philadelphia–Camden–Wilmington Combined Statistical Area. The first Europeans to visit this area were French traders and missionaries in 1714-1718 who named it for George Woodbury, an American Revolutionary War general and delegate from Burlington Township in Burlington County. In 1836, Woodbury was incorporated as a borough by order of Governor John H. Brown; its founder was Samuel J. Ketchum (a native of Scotland). In 1871, as part of a statewide consolidation plan that included all U.S. towns with a population over 5,000 except Camden and Atlantic City which had already federated as municipalities years earlier*, Woodbury became the third municipality in New Jersey to be incorporated using the original form of government (the other two being Edison Township in Middlesex County and Paramus Borough in Union County). In 1898 *George Washington Carver* moved to Woodbury from Vineland where he had been working on his farm until then*and started operations at what would become known as Carver's Farmstead/Carver's Market which continues to operate today as one of the most important commercial corridors in section 8 outside Philadelphia*. Families began moving into denser suburbs such as Colesville and Hackensack during the 1950s when development pressures increased around nearby Fort Lee and West Nyack Roads; however much of what makes Woodbury unique still remains: its small town feel combined with ample open space for walking, biking or inline skating on winter days - something truly unique among major metropolitan areas located within commuting distance served by mass transportation.* After years of growth - spurred by new housing developmentszoning ordinances enacted during the early 21st century allowing more building near schools & shopping centers – Woodbury reached 10,000 residents again on July 1st 2018!

The Model 1100 was an unsuccessful attempt to create a field-day assault rifle that could compete with more expensive rifles such as the AK47. In 1969, Colt Firearms introduced theModel 1150 which became known as the “Bureau model” because it was developed under contract to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF). The bureau model featured a detachable magazine and allowed users to change calibers easily. In 1977, Colt Firearms released their first gas-operated AR pistol,the M4A1 Carbine. This pistol featured an adjustable stock and joined the company’s line of firearms that included pistols, revolvers, sniper rifles, shotguns and machineguns. The M4A1 Carbine remained in production until 1994 when it was replaced by theM16A2 Rifle series. In 1993, Colt Firearms released their first semiautomatic AR rifle calledthe Masterpiece Arms DM9Sniper Rifle. This rifle featured a new barrel design that made it more accurate than earlier designs while also providing much greater firepower than standard AR rifles at this time. It remains in production today as theDM11 Sniper Rifle models A3/A5/A7 etc..

Woodbury is a small town located in Union County, New Jersey. The population was 1,574 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Trenton-Ewing, NJ Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first Europeans to visit what is now Woodbury were French traders who camped there in 1675. The first permanent Anglo-American settler was Ezekiel Hubbard who arrived in 1764 and named his place for his friend and mentor Jonathan Belcher. In 1814, George Washington and his army passed through on their way from Trenton to New York City and stopped at Hubbard's house for dinner. This event became known as "The Battle of Hubbard's House." The first post office was established in 1837 by Major Augustus Waddell, with the name of "Newburgh". The current post office building was built in 1911. In 1871, the township formed from parts of Elizabeth Township, one of five townships formed under the same legislation that became Mercer County. At that time it had a population of 681 people; it grew to 1,574 by 1990. One important development during this time came when the railroad reached Woodbury via a branch line from Princeton Junction in 1865. This made local goodset available much closer to consumers than they would have been otherwise possible and helped fuel businesses such as Jiffy Lube garage which opened its doors on Main Street on November 11th, 1865 (the first business in town).
Woodbury was founded in 1795 by Nicholas Woodbury and his wife, Sarah. The village was named for Nicholas's military ancestor, John Woodbury. In 1812, the United States Congress decided that New Jersey should be divided into three sections based on population size which would become known as Camden, Middlesex, and Union counties. The villages of Woodbury and Northumberland were included within the new county of Burlington. In 1838, Nicholas's son-in-law George Washington Parris bought a tract of land near what is now East Brunswick Township to build a plantation called "The President." Parris continued to own the property until his death in 1875. In 1865, Newark residents loaded some 4500 barrels of dynamite onto a barge and set it off at Point Pleasant Beach in what is now Neptune City. The blast destroyed much of the town but did not kill anyone because explosives had failed to detonate prematurely. In 1907, woodbury became an incorporated municipality with a population of around 1800 people under the name "Woodbury Township". In 1923, Woodbury merged with Clifton Township to form Clifton Park Borough. On July 1st, 2015 Clifton Park Borough officially changed its name to Elmira Municipal Corporation!
