It was called an “arme blanche” which means white arm! In 1866, America started their own wars with Mexico and Spain, so they got rid of all their guns and just had rifles for that time period. In 1898, America became a republic, so they stopped using rifles and just made them shotguns again. In 1934, America passed the National Firearms Act which banned any type of handguns except those used by law enforcement officers and military members. That ended up being one of the most important firearms laws in American history because it prevented many people from getting their hands on handguns that could have been used in crimes or accidents.
Westfield is a town in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 21,879 at the 2010 census. It is the second most populous town in Middlesex County after Camden and the fifth most populous town in New Jersey. The first settler of Westfield was Nicholas Halsted who arrived there on July 10, 1784. The township was organized on March 4, 1812 and named for General James Westfield (1760-1835), a brigadier general during the American Revolutionary War and an officer of Benedict Arnold's force that helped to overthrow the British rule in North America. Westfield became a borough on May 14th, 1868 from part of Hunterdon Township. On November 16th of that year it passed a resolution requesting annexation by Newark which it received on December 1st. On February 15th 1870 its name was changed to Westfield Township and annexed by Newark as part of that city's growing community growth. The Great Depression hit Westfield hard; between 1930 and 1940 population dropped 25%. However, following World War II the economy boomed with more people coming into the area due to new jobs in manufacturing and agriculture (the nearby Middletown section becoming one of NJ’s first suburbs). In recent years development has slowed somewhat as job losses have transitioned into other industries such as health care and technology; however, overall population growth has been modest over recent decades due to high birth rates within the township itself and suburban expansion outside of it both eastward along Interstate 95 towards Paterson/Cedar Creek Valley and westward towards South Brunswickemi.. In recent years several large shopping malls have opened up around Lakewood including OneWest Mall (opened in 2004) adjacent to Fordham University; Prudential Center (opened 2006) adjacent to Rutgers University; The John F Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum (opened 2009) adjacent to Columbia University;[4] Monmouth Mall - Oceanport section also opened up including Bloomingdale's department store - Monmouth Center mall also reopened after being closed since 2008 for redevelopment purposes including Arby's restaurant located inside.[5][6][7]
In the early 1800s, people in America were still using traditional methods to kill animals. One of the earliest firearms used for hunting was a flintlock pistol. This weapon consisted of a barrel that was inserted into an armillary sphere, which allowed the user to shoot balls of lead at birds or other animals. Firearms like this were not as common as they are today, but they did exist. One of the most popular firearms during this time period was the revolver. A revolver is made up of several parts: the cylinder, which houses the firing mechanism; and the frame, which holds all of the other components. The gunsmith would then put these together to make sure that it worked correctly and fired properly. There were two types of revolvers: single-action and double-action. Single-action revolvers were easier to use than double-action revolvers because you just pulled back on the handle to fire; while double-action revolvers required you to twist both barrels around a clockwise motion in order to fire (similar to how a automatic rifle works). The popularity of handguns like these led to their proliferation in America. T-shirts featuring firearm designs started being produced starting around 1875, although there wasn’t much variety until after World War I when companies began making weapons designed specifically for t-shirt printing such as Colt’s Dragoon Repeater Rifle shirt from 1916 onwards. In 1933, Smith & Wesson introduced its first handgun design onto American clothing with their “ Detective Special” shirt model – effectively creating what is now known as sporting ammunition for T-shirts and posters circa 1977 AD when first marketed commercially outside North America[1] . Over time firearms have been included in more general clothing designs including Tank Top shirts (1948), Baseball caps (1960), Cowboy hats (1970), AirBnB air purifiers (2002) etc., but their presence on T‑shirts has never really waned despite occasional jokes about licensed guns being "printed" onto tee shirts by manufacturers[2].

Westfield was a small town in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The community was founded by George Westfeld in 1864. It became an incorporated municipality on May 15, 1896. The population of Westfield was 5,214 as of the 2010 census. As of the 2015 American Community Survey, its population had decreased to 4,853. The center of Westfield is located at the junction of Route 317 and Interstate 95W which makes it close to both Trenton and Camden. The village has a Weehawken-based shopping mall called the Meadowlands Center that opened in 2001 and contains over 150 stores including Macy's Department Stores, Sears Holdings Corporation, JCPenney Inc., Comerica Bank and Lowe's Companies Inc.. In addition to its shopping mall there are also several restaurants inside and outside the village limits as well as two Sheetz convenience stores/grocery stores (one inside and one outside). There is also a post office which opened in 1907 within walking distance of all these amenities.
Westfield was founded in 1765 by Nicholas Westfield and his brother. It became a town in 1834. The first store opened in 1836, and the first company hospital was built in 1840. In 1865, the New Jersey State Legislature relocated the capital from Trenton to Westfield.
