Tinton Falls, New Jersey is a town located in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 11,642 at the 2010 census. It is the second most populous municipality in Mercer County after West Orange. The first people to live in Tinton Falls were the Lenape Native Americans who ranched and hunted there for centuries before Major General George Washington's army burned down their villages in 1776 during the American Revolution. Europeans began settling in Tinton Falls around 1800, with Danish immigrants being the first to arrive. The Germans arrived in 1810 and Irish immigrants came soon afterward. The town was incorporated as a village on May 10, 1824. It became a city on November 3 of that year. During World War II, Tinton Falls was home to two large military installations: Fort Monmouth and Camp Blanding (now Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst). Fort Monmouth served as an airfield for V-2 rockets used by Nazi Germany during World War II; Camp Blanding was used as an internment camp for Japanese Americans during the war. During both wars, Tinton Falls residents supported the war effort by working either within or outside of their homes. A major shopping center opened up in downtown Tinton Falls in 1984 when Interstate 95 was completed east of town bypassing it all together and making way for new development along I-95 corridor east of town including shopping malls and office buildings which continue to be built today despite changes to I-95 routing that have eliminated access to much of downtown from what once constituted its core business district - leaving only small arterial streets through which most businesses now operate instead inside what had been once vibrant central business district flanked by high rise apartment buildings dating back some 100 years or more without any real retail presence other than a few small convenience stores - this has resulted in increased traffic congestion on select arterial streets adjacent to I-95 nears Downtown where apartments are now located since no longer do anyone want/need access inside Downtown anymore except those who own high rises providing easy access from one side of Towne Lake Boulevard (Route 9) bordering Interstate 95 lot all the way across Lot #1 just south of University Avenue into Downtown via University Avenue Bridge then walk or bike ride distance away from South Riverwalk across Easton Creek

Tinton Falls, New Jersey is a town in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 12,739 at the 2010 census. Tinton Falls is located on the Hackensack River and includes that portion of the town bounded by the river to the north and east, Clinton Avenue to the south and west, and Caldwell Avenue to the northwest. The first settler in Tinton Falls was John Tinton. He built a log cabin on what is now Clinton Avenue in 1824. The name "TINTON" was given by him to commemorate his purchase of 640 acres (240 hectares) of land from Abraham Lincoln for $5 per acre. In 1827, George Washington Carver settled there with his family from Maryland. They started a grocery store and later founded an agricultural school which became Carver State Teachers College in 1922. In 1840, Isaac Asbury moved here from Somerset County, New Jersey with his family after purchasing two hundred acres (100 hectares) near Paramus Junction where he built Asbury Park Station on Route 30A/9W. His farm became known as Asbury Park Township when it was established as part of Bergen County on April 14th, 1840. On July 1st 1870, TINTON borough was formed from portions of Asbury Park Township including parts of Caldwell and Rahway Villages while Keepnewsville Borough was created from portions of Caldwell Village including Rahway Roads East & West only which were annexed into TINTON borough effective January 2nd 1971). Industries developed around transportation: railroads came to prominence in this time; during World War II military bases were established nearby as well as large factories such as Pohono Rubber Plantation; today much smaller businesses are still located here like Allstate Insurance Company or Mahoney’s Barbecue Pit & Grille which remain unchanged since their establishment over 100 years ago! However some residents have left for newer suburbs like Parsippany or Paramus NJ due to high housing prices or lack thereof within walking distance! On October 15th 1916 local builder J C Crowley erected what would become one of America's most famous landmarks – Rockefeller Center – following plans drawn up by NYPL architects Cass Gilbert and Arthur Ashe Jr.. After three years construction began but stopped due to financial difficulties before completion; it reopened on April 26th 1920 under management by NYPL director Alfred Hutton with performances by Toscanini & Beethoven concerts being staged inside! Today Rockefeller Center remains one of America's most popular tourist destinations with over 150 million visitors each year!

Tinton Falls, New Jersey is a small town in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 1,521 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The first settlers to Tinton Falls were Dutch colonists who arrived in 1676 and 1677. They named the settlement "Tinton" after Sir Robert Tintinnabula, an English gentleman who had bought land in what is now Hunterdon County from the Lenape Indians. In 1712, Nicholas-Jacques Conte made a grant of land to three brothers: Solomon (1687-1753), Elias (1702-1777) and Isaac (1705-1785). These grants included much of present-day Hunterdon and Mercer Counties as well as parts of Cumberland County. The Conte family held onto their lands until 1836 when they sold them to Captain John Hamlin for $10 per acre ($2 million today). Captain John Hamlin built the first bridge over Hackensack Creek in 1793 which became known as the Bridge Over Hackensack Creek. He also orchards and began to sale apples from his trees near where he lived until his death in 1837. His son John Hamslin continued this business until 1865 when it was taken over by George Wertz who then operated it continuously until his death in 1922. In 1926, pursuant to an agreement between Captain John Hamlin's heirs and Township officials, all rights with respect to the Bridge Over Hackensack Creek were transferred including those covering most of what is now West Orange Township west of Route 202 and east of Interstate 95. This left Tinton Falls with properties northward extending only into School District 10 while South Orange Township extended into both districts making it difficult for either party ever fully merged its interests into one entity again because each desired exclusive rights with regard to various roads within its limits.. In 1934 Colonel Thomas Kapp donated five acres on forehead Road near where he resided for use as a public school ground adjacent to his farmstead which still stands today surrounded by private property used by Eastwood High School although that school has since been closed down due largely to budget cuts within District 10.. Kapp also donated two shotguns and four rifles from his farmstead range located about one mile south on Head Road opposite Kapp's home so that local farmers could shoot game during Fairchild Season open air gun shows which were held annually at Kapp's farmstead from 1903 through 1957 inclusive..
