Bullets in Summit, New Jersey have a long and varied history. From the earliest days of firearms to the present day, bullets have been an important part of the local community and culture. The first guns used Bullets in America were pistols made by Nicholas-Jacques Conte in 1795. The first rifle was designed by George Washington in 1775 and fired with Balls or Shot from a Mortar. Ammunition for these rifles was composed of small pieces of lead, shot, or brass that were hurled into the air by someone shooting at a target 100 yards away. Bullets were used for hunting until 1819 when they replaced shot as the primary ammunition for handguns. In 1851, Rifleman John Browning patented his design for an automatic Pistol thatfired Balls instead of Shot. This led to the development of handguns like revolvers and semi-automatics which use Bullets as their primary ammunition today. On July 4th, 1865, Union soldiers under General Ulysses S Grant opened fire on Confederate soldiers near Gettysburg Pennsylvania using Bullets as their main weapon against infantrymen using cannons instead of Balloons. This event is often called “the battle of Bunker Hill” because so many Bullet injuries resulted from this skirmish which ended with over 50% casualties on both sides

Summit is a small town in Mercer County, New Jersey. The population was 8,845 at the 2010 census. Summit is home to most of the county's government buildings including the courthouse and jail. It also has a small shopping center, several churches and schools, as well as a few businesses. In 1792, George Washington visited Summit while on his way from Princeton to Morristown. He stayed at the Mount Gilead House which still stands in town today and took part in a meeting there with James Wilson, who would later become the first U.S. Secretary of War under George Washington. The first post office for Summit was established in 1827 and became operational that year. In 1852, it merged with nearby West Morris Township to form one municipality known as Summit Grove Township (later West Essex). In 1870, Summit had 1 store and 10 residents; by 1910 it had 3 stores and 9 residents. The population continued to grow until 1940 when it hit its peak at 11,604; however since then it has been slowly declining due to various factors such as suburbanization and loss of jobs in the manufacturing sector which have impacted both township populations more than summit ones over time.

By 100 BC, some Greeks had started using Bullets in their wars against Rome. In 50 BC Julius Caesar introduced his famous Gallic Wars with his campaigns into Gaul where he encountered many armed enemy groups who did not yet have effective means of firing projectiles with great accuracy through close quarters combat conditions such as hand-to-hand fighting or siege warfare (see Franco-British War 1815)). After defeating all these enemies with ease, he realized how important it was for him to maintain control over Gaul so he ordered all his troops to carry spears instead of Firearms which would give them less chance against guerrilla fighters wielding swords and axes) . Bullet ammunition became very useful during this time as cannonballs often failed to hit anything due to their short range while spears were able to penetrate most obstacles even if they did not reach their target (see Napoleonic Wars 1806–1814)). In 1795 Austrian Captain Johann Friedrich Herder invented what is now known as the modern bullet – a small metal projectile filled with gaspowder and shaped like a cone (See Fig 1)). His bullet was designed for use in pistols which then allowed civilian shooters access to high quality gunfire without havingto get involved in military engagements

Summit was incorporated as a borough on November 3, 1902, from portions of Atlantic City and Camden County. The borough has had four mayors: Franklin D. Roosevelt (1932-1945), Fiorello La Guardia (1947-1957), John Lindsay (1966-1974), and James A. Baker III (1981-1989).
