Kapp until her death one year later on January 1st 1967 Missie Maloney took over primary caretaker duties untilMrs Maloney left SouthRiver following her graduation from college in 1971 Mr./Ms....Larson took over both primary caretaker positions until their departure prior toMrs Kapp returning full time teaching Jan.-Mar1971 finally Dr./Miss Snider took charge effective Mar 1971 thru Feb 1972 due primarily to Ms Snider having completed all 8 high school classes prior thereto & having worked long hours since Chambersburg obtained Special Education services thru NJODA BACKGROUND STUDY PROGRAM Prioritoinschool program provided pupils with remedial/ enrichment programming commencing programs beginninggrades 5-8

South River is a borough in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 5,873 at the 2000 census. It was part of the Philadelphia–Camden Historic District. The area now known as South River was first settled by Dutch colonists in 1624 and named "Houtenburgh". In 1701, the Swedes founded a settlement on the site and named it "Middelburg". The same year, British colonists arrived and renamed it "South River" after an ancient river in Scotland. In 1838, the Borough of Camden merged with SouthRiver to form what is now Middlesex County. The merger created a new borough with no residents living within its borders who had originated from either of the two earlier municipalities. However, since SouthRiver's boundaries did not match those of any of Camden's predecessor boroughs (other than Northumberland Township), most townspeople continued to reside within SouthRiver until 1960 when they were given their own borough seat in neighboring Camden. South River is located on both sides of Raritan Bay; its eastern border is defined by Raritan Creek while its western border is Wallkill Creek. It has an area of , making it one of the smallest towns in New Jersey by total land area. According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough had a total population of 5,873 at the 2000 census; 3 percent more than township-based calculations show and 2 percent less than estimated totals for nearby Camden which included 8,527 residents at that time; both numbers are slightly below current estimates due primarily to growth near Trenton which includes 11,643 residents as of 2010 according to NJ Advance Media's count). As stated earlier however this discrepancy may be partially attributed to higher-than-average population growth rates among surrounding counties (Hunterdon County has experienced such significant growth rate since 2000 that its unfunded pension liabilities have become nearly double that amount) - especially considering that only 1/5th (0.2%) of all households are made up exclusively or principally thereof within SouthRiver’s borders
