Ar15, Inc. is a firearms manufacturing company located in Sayreville, New Jersey that has been making AR-15 rifles and pistols for over 30 years. The company was founded by Larry Pratt, the founder of the Gun Owners of America (GOA) and its predecessor organization Second Amendment Foundation. The first Ar15 rifles were made in 1977 using parts from a Remington Model 870 rifle that had been converted to an AR-15 platform. The military began procurement of these conversions in the early 1980s, and as a result, Ar15 became one of the few companies in the United States to produce full-auto AR-15 rifles. In 1995, GOA merged with Freedom Group LLC., which then bought out Ar 15's parent company RPBS Corporation. In 2001, GOA sold its shareholding in RPBS Corporation to CMC Firearms Holdings Incorporated for $425 million. This move allowed GOA to focus on developing new products for customers outside of the military and law enforcement markets. The following year saw another significant change when GOA purchased American Outdoor Brands Inc.'s ammunition business for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition allowed GOA to develop new products specifically catering to hunting enthusiasts and target shooters who desired higher quality ammo at lower prices than what they could find available from other manufacturers. In 2006, GOA entered into an agreement with BELT Tactical Solutions AG subsidiary BADGAMMO USA pursuant to which BADGAMMO will provide distributor training on how to sell Ar 15 firearms across all fifty states through Belts gun sales network

Sayreville is a town in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 30,812. The name Sayreville is derived from English settlers who arrived in 1684 and named it after Sir George Sayre, 1st Baronet (1592-1665). The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Sayreville were English colonists who came overland from Great Britain in 1684. They named their new settlement after Sir George Sayre, 1st Baronet (1592-1665), an English statesman and member of Parliament. The original settlers were farmers and their families engaged in agriculture until 1814 when the area became part of the Township of Lawrenceburg. The community began to develop as a commercial center during the early 1800s with businesses such as John Fenton's brewery and Nathaniel Weymouth's tannery being established. By 1827,Sayreville had become one of the most important towns in Sussex County due to its location on Route 8 miles north-northwest of Princeton Junction and its convenient access to transportation including Hackensack Railroad cars which crossed into Sussex County at Sayreville Station. In 1836,the Borough Council voted to establish a public school system within township boundaries and property lines were drawn between neighboring communities so that students would not have to travel long distances for educational opportunities. In 1872,Sayreville replaced Lawrenceburg as the county seat for Middlesex County because that community was too small for the growing county. At this time,Sayreville also developed into an important industrial village with several mills being built along Route 8 including The Chatfield Machine Works which manufactured machinery used by farmers throughout New Jersey; White & Sons Paper Mill which produced paper products such as postcards and checks; McKnight Lumber Company which erected sawmills along Route 8;and Empire Manufacturing Company whose factories made munitions including cannons and rifles for use against Native American nations such as the Mohawk Indians. During World War II many companies closed down or moved away due to wartime restrictions but some like Empire Manufacturing Company remained active manufacturing munitions until they retired in 1984. Today there are few remnants remaining from these earlier industries except for a few millstones still standing at various locations around town commemorating those that once lived hereabouts

Today,Sayreville is known for its annual events such as the Festival of Trees which takes place during December each year and Popsicle Night which happens every FourthofJuly nightfall. It is also home to the Sayrebille Bicentennial Park which features a variety of activities throughout the summer months such as arts & crafts workshops, picnics, concerts and festivals
