They moved into what are now parts of Ridgewood and Maple Shade neighborhoods in South Philadelphia so that they would still have access to education and job opportunities while avoiding integration with black Englishers living near them – this move helped spur development along Avenues Niner Road and Montrose Avenue (now known as Walnut Street) between Northeast 27th Street/Goodwin Boulevard and Northeast 26th Street/Montrose Boulevard which eventually lead to Neighborhood Centers being developed throughout North Philadelphia
