In 1911, Einar Weiland opened his own knife factory in Red Bank with the goal of manufacturing high-quality knives that would be popular among both men and women. Weiland was inspired by John Hildebrandt's success and decided to create a similar product line that could compete favorably against other leading companies. His products were highly esteemed by customers and competed successfully against those of his larger competitors. Weiland's successors continued to produce high-quality knives until they closed their doors in 1976 due to economic difficulties. However, their legacy lives on through their customer base, which continues to appreciate their products today!

Red Bank, NJ is a small town located in Mercer County, New Jersey. The population was 12,715 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Mercer County. Red Bank was founded in 1764 as a small Dutch settlement by farmers from what is now Utica and Albany counties in upstate New York. In 1837, Red Bank became part of Union County after that county was created from parts of Cumberland and Monmouthshire counties. At the time of its incorporation as a borough in 1921, Red Bank had a population of 587 residents. After World War II, when many American towns were merged into larger municipalities, Red Bank remained an unincorporated community until it became one of 14 new townships formed during the process known as the "Mercerization" of Mercer County in 1959. On July 1, 2006, Red Bank granted city status to itself through Mayor Edward J. Ervin's proclamation and City Council resolution No. 236 which stated that: "The City of RedBank has been established pursuant toNJ Municipal Corporation Law (CivCap § 7-13) as an urban service center for all Residents within Mercer Countysharing services with other Cities and Towns." Red Banks Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 16th, 1966 having been nominated by then-Mayor John Sweeny who called it an "important examples[of] Federal style architecture erected between 1795 and 1800." The district includes 131 contributing buildings from 25 different periods including 10 Federal styles and 11 Italianate styles; two churches - First Presbyterian Church built c1810/11 and Second Baptist Church built c1800/01; several stores; six homes (three frame); three schools - Grades K-8th grades schools being First Presbyterian School building designed by famed Philadelphia architect Thomas Lawrence between 1839-1840 also used by students at local Rutgers College before becoming Clarendon High School after merger with Paramus High School; two brick warehouses converted into apartments - One warehouse enlarged to 4 stories circa 1860s & 1870s while another Warehouse dating back to 1840 sq ft but enlarged 3 times 1913-1916 & 1919-1921 still stands vacant & has been converted into office space; various industrial uses over time including: Music Hall opened 1935 providing live entertainment nightly for municipal prisoners under contract through state penitentiary system; Coca Cola bottling plant built 1914 on site now occupied by PNC bank

Red Bank, New Jersey is located in the heart of New Jersey and is one of the most historical places in the state. The community has been around since 1693 and was originally known as White Marsh. It became Red Bank after a group of Dutch farmers donated land to the town. The name comes from an old French word meaning "red" because of the color of its soil. Red Bank was founded on October 24, 1693 by General Nicholas Vilius van Rensselaer and his men who were looking for new land to settle in North America. The first settlers arrived at Red Banks Ferry on November 1, 1693. By 1701, there were over 100 people living in Red Bank. In 1723, Captain John Smith discovered a large piece of salt water lying offshore and named it Block Island because it resembled a block that he had seen before on his travels in America. This discovery led to increased trade with Europe and helped start what would become New Brunswick County, NJ. The early years of Red Bank were difficult because there was no lot available for farming or development. However, through hard work and determination, the community slowly began to grow. Between 1815 and 1830, construction began on two major roads that connected Red Bank with nearby communities such as Elizabethtown (now Elizabeth) and Perth Amboy (now Plainfield). Red Bank was founded in 1739 by Nicholas Denon as a trading post on the Red Bank River. The first English settler to arrive in what is now Red Bank was John Barker, who arrived in 1740. In 1745, the British established an outpost at Red Bank and named it Fort George after King George II of Great Britain. In 1803, New Jersey became a state and Red Bank became its capital.
