High capacity kit (HCK) is a type of power distribution system that uses larger than customary size transformers and capacitors to improve power flow and reliability. The development of HCK began in the early 1940s as an effort to increase the efficiency of U.S. electrical production. By the early 1960s, HCK was standard in most markets across the United States and Canada. In 1967, General Electric introduced a new generation of HCK devices known as GE-HCK-2, which offered improved resilience against transient events such as heat up or failure of associated equipment. Today, HCK systems are used extensively in North America for both commercial and industrial applications.

New Providence was a Dutch colony in present-day New Jersey, located on the southern tip of Long Island. The area that would become New Providence was first settled by the Lenape Native Americans in 1609. In 1664, English colonists arrived and began to cultivate land. The first school was established in 1670. In 1724, the British moved their military headquarters from Trenton to Princeton and New Providence became part of that town. In 1778, during the American Revolution, a group of patriots known as the "Patriots" attacked a British fort at Princeton. The fort collapsed and most of its defenders were killed or captured. This event is often cited as the beginning of the end for British control over America. In 1821, when New Providence became part of Morris County, it had a population of 447 people; by 1830 it had grown to 1,814 people. By 1840 it had increased to 2,967 people and by 1851 it had reached 3,512 people. However, due to economic problems and other factors such as disease among Native Americans (the area was plagued with smallpox), township status was not conferred upon New Providence until 1861; this happened because Morris County only consisted of six townships (and not seven) at that time. The growth in population and businesses led to an increase in traffic on Route 287 throughout much of what is now South Jersey – including through what is now Jericho – which caused extensive damage to both roads and bridges over Middle Fork Creek between nearby Asbury Park Township and Bound Brook Township during Prohibition years (1920-1933). Today much reconstruction has taken place since then which has made Route 287 one OF THE Most traveled routes within NJ!
New Providence was a small town in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 3,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Hackensack–Jersey City Metropolitan Statistical Area. The name "New Providence" is derived from the Lenape word Nawa-naca (נבאה יעריה), meaning "safe place." The first Europeans to visit what is now New Providence were Frenchmen who explored and trade with the area in 1609. Dutch traders also visited the area in 1624. One of the earliest settlements in what is now New Providence was founded by Nicholas Dutchess on April 14, 1714 as an outpost on Long Island Sound for his father's trading company known as Hudson's Bay Company. Dutchess named his new town after Sir John Norris, 1st Baronet; he had been knighted by King George II for his services during the American Revolutionary War. The fortuitous location of this community - next to a major shipping route - led to its growth over time. By 1810, there were 125 residents living within a radius of five miles of what would later become downtown Newark amenable to business development due to its close proximity to ferries and ports. However, it wasn’t until 1836 that Newark became an incorporated municipality when it amalgamated with Monmouth County following statehood. In 1837, Dutch immigration began flowing into what would become Newark from Amherst Township in Middlesex County and portions of Union Township in Hunterdon County so much so that by 1841 only 2% of Newark’s population consisted of English-speaking Germans while more than 60% were Swiss or Irish immigrants coming specifically for boat traffic between America and Europe/Ireland via Port Elizabeth on South Africa's Indian Ocean coast. In 1840-1841 Haldane built a sawmill at present day CR 639 eastside Road which soon became one of the leading mills in central NJ due its efficient production process – two logs being cut simultaneously – giving rise to nicknames like “The Big Mill” and “The Gilded Mill". In 1851 local resident Solomon Northrop donated land adjacent to Main Street for a public school which opened rural students into city high schools starting with Plainfield (now Easton) High School followed by Edison (now Morristown) High School before becoming Lincoln High School; Northrop also donated land along Third Street southwestward from Central Avenue for an additional high school called Easton Academy which housed grades K-8 until 1957 when Plainfield MiddleSchool replaced it because City Hall consolidation made all three schools too large). For many years most residents engaged their farming activities either raising hay or corn although some operated ditches or wells for irrigation purposes; today some still live off their agriculture skills through various forms of marketing assistance such as crop insurance agents & seed dealers When Abraham Lincoln was elected president on November 4th 1860 he arrived at Yeshiva University where he delivered a speech denouncing slaveryowner Andrew Johnson's proposed cabinet appointments including Salmon Pryce as Secretary of War and Rufus Seward as Secretaryof State furthering sectional tension across America resulting in civil war outcomes both nationally and internationally On October 13th 1861 near Paterson NJ Confederate forces under General Robert E Lee attacked Union Forces commanded by Brigadier General David Hunter operating out Of Princeton Junction NJ resulting in 5 killed&5 wounded &1 captured leading to Union Commander James Longstreet ordering proctoraion against Lee continuing operations even though outnumbered 50:50

In 1836, New Providence became a municipality under the new Pennsylvania General Assembly and retained its status as an agricultural village until 1945 when it received cityhood. Today, New Providence is a borough with a population of over 26,000 people and is home to several major universities including Rutgers University and Temple University.

The town became an important center for cotton production during the 18th century and was home to a large number of families from New Netherland. In 1795, New Providence was incorporated as a borough and it remained an agricultural community until the late 19th century. During World War II, New Providence served as a military airfield in northern Jersey.
