In 1865, The Rifle Company merged with another firearm manufacturer, the Henry Repeating Arms Company, which made pistols as well as rifles and shotguns under the name “Henry Repeating Arms Corporation”. By 1901, both companies had folded and their products were discontinued nationwide. However, their legacy continued to be enjoyed by many shooters throughout America until recently when they were finally legalized again in 2009!

New Providence is a town in Jersey County, New York, United States. The population was 5,819 at the 2010 census. It is part of the New York metropolitan area. The land where New Providence now stands was first settled by colonists from Rhode Island in 1664 and named for Providence Plantation on Narragansett Bay. In 1714, Nicholas Nicolls purchased from the Crown a tract including what is now New Providence Township and parts of Cumberland Township. He built his manor there andrewards to survey his lands for a future colony of Britain's North America. In 1772, John Campbell (1727-1794), one of George Washington's appointees as Deputy Commissioner of Customs in Philadelphia, became proprietor of much of present-day Jersey City and its environs after purchasing large tracts eastward from Newark until he reached the Delaware River. His heirs sold most or all their holdings to James Craig in 1802; but some remain in private hands today. On July 10, 1800, General James Wilkinson laid out new townships on Long Island across from Manhattan while commandeering artillery pieces taken during the Battle of Monmouth Court House as punishment for British looting and arson that had occurred two weeks earlier near Princeton Junction on Long Island Sound. On August 14th Governor William Tryon ordered the withdrawal of all troops from those townships pending verification that they were not threatened with seizure by the Militia under Colonel John Sullivan if they did not comply; no such orders were given though Tryon himself returned to Princeton Junction three days later when news arrived that Butler's army had burned several villages alongLongIslandSoundnearPrincetonJunction). The commander-in-chief decided not to pursue this opportunity to seize arms supplies needed for an impending invasion by France whereas he would instead march against Canada – but this decision was overruled by Lord Cornwallis who announced plans for Invasion on October 15th . New Providence township was organized February 13th 1803 when it gained boundary lines between Hunterdon County north to Bordentown before turning westward towards Middlesex County; it became part of Bergen County March 3rd 1835 when that county was created from portions Of Essex and Passaic Counties which lay south and east of Hackensack Creek (now called Southold Creek). On November 1st 1905 referendum voters approved moving Allendale High School located in East Orange into residency within New Providence Township limits since East Orange School District (now Clifton Park) had been established there only five years earlier following consolidation among several other districts around Trenton NJ which also voted to annex their portion including Westwood Village located just northeast corner(s)ofNewProvidenceTownship Limits). As result high school students living within township boundaries are able to attend schools operated by both district systems without having to switch schools midyear like many residents in neighboring communities do today! Today’s economy is based largely on manufacturing with heavy industry being centered around trucking companies such as Conrail Transportation & Smith Electric Truck Manufacturing Company Incorporated since 1945 which manufactures railroad freight cars throughout North America however over time much attention has turned towards developing renewable energy resources through wind farms/towers/laser power plants etc... One major development over recent years has been construction activity related specifically thereto - namely Ralph J Roberts’s $110 million Hudson Yards project adjacent Lake Hopatcong resulting in increased traffic congestion around Midtown Newark Airport yet another example...... although infrastructure projects continue apace throughout both cities (namely ring road connecting I-95 & Garden State Parkway), progress appears slow relative to needs..... nonetheless retail developments have seen rapid growth especially along route 9A leading directly into Downtown Newark featuring dozens if not hundreds restaurants etc... more recently housing developments have sprung up at various points near college campuses particularly near downtown Elizabethtown NJ offering vast arrays (~$1 million per unit) 2 bedroom apartments/3 bedroom condos starting as low as $100K while top spots go well above $300K

New Providence was the first town in New Jersey. It was founded on the site of what is now Paterson, by Loyalists who fled to the new colony during the American Revolution. The town was established as a post-office and trading center for surrounding settlements, and it prospered until the 18th century when its population dwindled due to natural disasters such as floods and fires. However, New Providence had a vital role in early New Jersey history, serving as a center for trade with Pennsylvania and Delaware. In 1764, Sir George Yeardley erected a fort here to protect British settlers from French attacks. The fort served as an important base of operations for New Jersey troops during the Revolutionary War. In 1775, General John Burgoyne landed here with his army after fleeing from Manhattan following their failed attempt to take Philadelphia. Burgoyne made temporary headquarters at Fort Lee before moving his forces northeastward toward Princetonshire. Here he abandoned his invasion plan and decided to retreat instead into Pennsylvania. After meeting with British generals at Saratoga Springs in July 1777, Burgoyne ordered his army backorthward across Susquehanna River towards Yorktown. However, after reaching Valley Forge on October 19th, he realized that war would not be won easily and decided to surrender on November 11th. New Providence lost many of itsResidents during the Revolution including some of its signers such as George Washington
New Providence was founded in 1664 by the Dutch. It became a British town in 1783. The town was destroyed by a fire in 1827 and again by a fire in 1843.
