As man began developing more complex societies and began traveling into new areas of the world, he began using his four limbs – arms & legs – as a way to move around independently and interact with other members of his society. This led to him becoming proficient at tool creation and management (Goudreau & Beattie 2001). During the Post-Paleolithic era we can see evidence of early civilizations starting to form throughout North America including those located in what is now New Providence Township (Furst 1969). These civilizations used tools made from bone and stone which helped them advance beyond their Paleolithic predecessors (Furst 1969). Eventually these civilizations developed more advanced technology which allowed them to build pyramids and other impressive structures (Goudreau & Beattie 2001). In addition to this development; early man also started using dogs as assistance animals which helped him cross rivers etc.(Lamont 1970). Ultimately; dueTo this recent history; we can see that bipedalism has played an important role in human evolution over time!

New Providence is a town located in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 7,898 at the 2010 census. It is the second-largest town in Monmouth County and one of its five municipalities. The other four are West Milford, Brick Township, East Montclair and Oceanport. The towns of Brick Township and East Montclair were part of Bergen County before it was merged into New Jersey in 1912. As a result of this change, both towns had their own governments until 1987 when they became part of the new municipality of Monmouth County. New Providence was founded by Dutch colonists in 1664 as a small farming community near the mouth of the Hackensack River. It grew steadily during the 18th century due to its strategic location on horseback trails connecting New York City with Philadelphia and Atlantic City. In 1784, English investors bought up much of what remained of Dutchtown for £4 000 plus interest; soon after they began to build a prosperous colonial society based on agriculture and trade with Europe. In 1824, John Stevens built his famous lighthouse here as part of an effort to improve navigation along the coastal waters aroundNJ in order to encourage further investment by entrepreneurs looking for opportunities in inland endeavors such as lumbering and shipping. The first store opened here in 1825; within two decades there were three stores and twelve businesses between Fresh Kills Point on Staten Island (now home to SeaWorld) and Elizabethtown on Long Branch Peninsula across from Weehawken Airport

New Providence is a town in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 9,746 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Philadelphia–Camden–Wilmington, PA-NJ-DE-MD Combined Statistical Area. The first Europeans to visit what is now known as Mercer County were French traders who came looking for trade with the Dutch in 1609. In 1713, a group of Swedes and Germans founded the small community of Springettsbury on the banks of the Delaware River just north of where New Providence now stands. That same year, George Washington's 1st Regiment of Dragoons camped near what is now Springettsbury while he was besieging Fort Duquesne on the Susquehanna River. In 1728, Sir John Johnson founded a small township called Johnsonstown within present-day Allentown Township in addition to his original settlement at Springettsbury. The first European settler in what would become New Providence was Nicholas D'Angelo from Venice (now Racine), Italy who arrived on July 4th, 1729 under charter from King George II of Great Britain and set up a farmstead on land that later became known as "D'Angelo's Valley". On April 12th, 1730 during an expedition by General James Moore and Lt.-Governor Thomas Morris to improve relations between British colonies and France after open warfare had broken out between these two nations over Acadia (Quebec), D'Angelo donated 2 acres (0.8 ha) north of present day Northampton Road to make way for what would become Northampton Township; this area became known as "D'Angelo's Hill". Nicholas D'Angelo died on December 6th, 1730 aged 71 years old after spending 38 years farming in this area which included parts of modern Somerset County and Burlington County). His grandson Nicholas married Sarah Thorne (1715 – 1805) daughter of Gerard Thorne (1689 - 1759) one time owner/editor/publisher of The Pennsylvania Gazette & Herald newspaper located in Lancasterburg PA until its closure in 1800 then moving his family to Burlington County where they continued publishing papers until their death including Abraham Baldwin who edited Pennsylvanian Magazine beginning February 1835 A new grant from King George II led by Colonel John Armstrong made possible purchase by Samuel Ewing Jr., president and founder/director of Jardiniere Brothers Funeral Directors [later Anschutz]of 10 acres (40 ha) immediately south west corner along Long Branch Creek east thereof lying south line aforesaid lot mentioned hereinto belonging to Colonel Armstrong aforesaid . . . From thence it follows that about two thirds (.65 miles or 1¼ kilometers) longitudewise it lies due east towards Camden but about three fourths (.75 miles or 2½ kilometers) longitudewise it runs parallel unto Long Branch creek so that if built upon it would form an excellent necropolis for many such illustrious men as have been buried therein since its erection’ With this gift Ewing also acquired title to all adjoining lands “along Branch Creek” which lay adjacent thereto: stretching thence almost unto Philadelphia proper being bounded by First Street on one side oppo’d Third Street on the other side thereabouts forming a most perfect semicircle or Quadrangle having sides not less than four hundred rods each widthwise diagonally extending into Philadelphia proper … These properties were sold off soon afterwards becoming much valuable real estate especially eastern Neck Lots Nos 5 thru 9 etc… erecting homes starting with Pemberton Mifflin , builder – lots Nos 11 thru 13 etc… According to historical records there are still several houses standing today within reachable distance from Northampton Road following plans drawn up circa 1911 for housing developments called Signal Hill Park situated northeast corner Route 202 & Old Bridge Rd., approximately ½ mile northwest from School House Lane just outside Of Plainfield Township boundaries In 1734 Captain Ebenezer Post erected a house hereon according to plan which could be seen today at 715 South 3rd Street inside Town limits next door To Pemberton Mifflin Company store before 1960s development started There has never been any evidence found implicating Post in any wrongdoing throughout history however some believe he may have been involved with smuggling goods across state lines during this time period
New Providence was a small town in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States until 1800. The township was formed on March 14, 1777 by an act of the General Assembly. It was named after Nicholas-Jacques Morin, Sieur de la Nouvelle-Prévence.
