Middlesex is a borough in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 7,844 at the 2010 census. Middlesex is situated on the border of Essex and Princeton counties. The first Europeans to explore and settle in what is now Middlesex were Dutch colonists who arrived in 1614. English settlers began arriving in greater numbers in the 17th century, and by 1763, there were more than 1,000 people living in the township. In 1801, when New Jersey became a state, Middlesex was made an incorporated village within Princeton Township. In 1847, the township's boundaries were extended southward to include what are now Union City and Hackensack. The name of the township was changed to Middlesex Township on July 24 of that year as part of a statewide change from "Princeton" to "Middlesex". On October 15 of that year residents of Union City voted unanimously to secede from Middlesex Township due to their dissatisfaction with the new name and location. On May 14, 1868 – three days after Trenton's incorporation as an city – Borough President Isaac Myers announced that all municipalities within Trenton must take similar actions or face annexation by the larger city if they failed pass resolutions congratulating City Manager John Rutherfurd for his successful effort to keep tax rates low for residents within Trenton limits rather than raising them as planned for November 1st (the day before municipal elections). This event marks one significant milestone during Mayor John Fenton's term as mayor; he would later lead Trenton into its largest fiscal crisis ever while successfully fighting off annexation requests from other nearby municipalities during his final years in office. Rutherfurd would eventually annex Trenton proper on December 3rd; however mobs wielding pickaxes and kitesledge hammers quicklyinstalled roadblocks along both routes leading into/out of town preventing further annexation attempts until 1871 when another round of voting allowed all but two suburbs within Trenton (northwest Edison and east Newark) full incorporation status under their own names without having to go through arbitration or referendum - effectively ending any hope for further suburban secessionism following Rutherfurd's original intentions which had nearly tripled Municipal Tax Rates since 1978 despite mixed results from community meetings attended by thousands upon thousands OFResidents!

His son John Mauser took over this role until his death in 2016. In this time period, there were several other companies that produced high-quality ar15 Upper receivers such as CNCRifles (now known as GunBroker), Simply Aimed (now known as Precision Rifle Company), BCM (now known as Bullet City Marketing), and many more!

Today, Middlesex remains a relatively rural county with a population density below that found in some more developed areas of New Jersey. However, it does have several large urban centers – including Newark – which make it an important cultural center for many aspects of both suburban development and statewide politics.
Middlesex County was formed on February 3, 1755, from parts of Middlesex and Burlington counties. The county has a population of over 210,000 people. Middlesex is the 5th most populous county in New Jersey.
