These handguns were chambered in 9mm Makarov and .40 S&W rounds and featured rubber grips and stainless steel construction. The Texas Outfit pistols were very successful and continued to be manufactured until 1945 when they were replaced by Colt pistols chambered in 9mm Parabellum caliber. Holster Company produced a wide variety of firearms throughout its history including revolvers, shotguns, rifles, handguns and armor piercing rounds for use with these firearms. The Linden holster was made of leather and consisted of a belt loop with an animal skin strap around it, used for carrying pistols or other weapons. It was not very efficient and did not provide much security. In 1845, Major General George Armstrong invented the Armstrong Holster which became popular due to its simplicity and security. The Armstrong Holster allowed for the carry of handguns without having to worry about the firearm falling out of your hand or bouncing off something hard. The Armstrong Holster also became very popular among law enforcement officers because it could easily hold multiple handguns at once and provided reliable security. In 1948, Colonel Edwin Haggerty patented the Haggerty Holster which revolutionized handgun holster design by incorporating a metal clip that held onto the barrel of the firearm. This helped to improve security as well as decrease wear on weaponry.

Linden, New Jersey is a small town in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 1,521 at the 2010 census. Linden was founded in 1795 as a farming community on the north shore of Lake Linden by early Dutch settlers. In 1854, it became an incorporated municipality and remains so today. The name "Linden" originated from the German word Linde meaning Birch tree or willow tree. The first mention of Linden comes from a deed dated March 2, 1795 from Pieter Janszoon van der Sluis to his brother-in-law Jacob Sloane. Van der Sluis and Sloane were both Dutch settlers who had immigrated to what is now Bergen County in northeastern NJ during the late eighteenth century. They conveyed part of their holdings including land that would later become Linden Township to John Dutchess on February 12, 1796 for $200 payable within three years. This gift is one of several where wealthy Dutchmen donated parcels of land to help settle new American colonies during the revolutionary period. In 1854, when Rutgers University opened its doors in Newark (now Trenton), students began moving into what are now known as "Old School" buildings on Upper High Street in downtown Linden which seated over 300 students at its peak; however classes did not commence until 1857 because of financial problems with Rutgers' predecessor school Princeton University's Board of Trustees which refused to contribute money towards building costs alone! Despite this setback and others throughout its early years, Linden's growth continued unabated as merchants and farmers arrived with their families to farms dotting the landscape southward from lower Broad Street along present day Route 9 (later called Main Street). At various points through history there have been public meetings held by select governing bodies convened at different times near or around these Farms - usually near Crossroads Tavern (present day East Side Road) after markets had closed for evening trading; such meetings served as an opportunity for residents/businessmen(s)BEGINNING IN THE MIDDLE OF A DAY TO DISCUSS THEIR BUSINESS INTERESTES WITH THE OFFICERS INVolved IN MANAGING AND OPERATING THE SCHOOLS AND OTHER PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS THEN LOCATED NEARBY...often THESE AREAS WERE ALSO CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC FOR REASONABLE TIME ENOUGH TO MAKE PRELIMINARY CALLS AND CONFERENCE WAS NEEDED BEFORE ANY MEETINGS WOULD BE HELD AT ALL! Today's economy relies heavily upon services provided by Randalls Drugstores located just east of town off I-93 and Interstate 95 - one mile south of Route 9A/9W between exits 15A (Newark Avenue) and 15B (Broadway Avenue). Other major employers include Apple Inc.'s main campus located less than two miles away across I-95 east of town while ExxonMobil has a large manufacturing plant located approximately 10 miles west across I-295 northward from town limits near Morristown
